Hoy la cabina la maneja @abbot_love_pizza, un joven dj de 22 años amante de la música sin importar el género. Comenzó su viaje a los platos de la mano de Deepnoise, curtiéndose con dos cdj 100 en el 2019, compaginándolo con sus estudios .Su intención es sencilla y compleja en este mundo, transmitir a la gente lo mismo que el siente pinchando, libertad y creatividad, mostrándolo así en los distintos estilos de mezclas que ha reflejado tanto en sus sesiones más relajadas como en sus sesiones más enérgicas ,repartidas principalmente por Galicia y Madrid. Tras este 2023 comenzará a formarse de manera más técnica con la intención de iniciar su carrera musical en los próximos años.

En esta sesión, claro guiño a sus inicios, recoge melodías y ritmos oscuros con la intención de evocar atmósferas concretas y bombos muy marcados, inspirados sobre todo en el techno más antiguo y contundente que fue el primer estilo con el que se inició, y , que según él, permite una mayor creatividad a la hora de realizar mezclas.

His unfaltering run of releases, including appearances on Esperanza, Rogue Society and his very one Savor Records, continues with his latest brace. The relentless bass-heavy groove and spoken vocal of the title track is an instant winner and backed impressively by the tougher and etcher synth driven number The Signal. 

Getting to grips with Rise Up on the remix tip are label heads Raw Rootz and Bass Culture artist Marcman. The former takes the original on a tougher run, maintaining and adding to its driving energy, whilst Romanian producer Marcman turns in an equally fierce drum-laden re-rub.

Oscar Mulero’s contribution to the Token catalogue goes all the way back to 2008. The ferocious Take Seven EP  was the start of a longstanding partnership between the label and artist. Between this first release and the more recent Suborbital Trajectories EP, Mulero also provided Token with 2 releases as Spherical Coordinates, producing sophisticated big room and bleep tracks.
Through his lengthy and prolific career, Mulero has not contented himself with producing dancefloor tools alone. The full-length Perfect Peace, released in March this year on Semantica, demonstrates this well, with Autechre and Aphex-flecked IDM and electronica sounds dominating the work. 
 
The new Electric Shades EP also has elements of this extra depth. The record opens and closes with sci-fi theatrics: Electric Shades throbs and pulses under eerie space atmospherics, while Dying Asteroid sonically details the demise of a small celestial body in clinical detail. But this record also operates with the solid functionality of Mulero’s earlier work. The Voyage is agitated and bleepy, while heavy roller Signal Trace plays deeper with similar themes. Triad and Extension too are weighty highlights, affording the record plenty of utilitarian benefit for DJs and home listening enthusiasts alike.
