This week's special guest is Martin Petersson, aka MartinMax, a DJ of immense talent who has been spinning tunes since the vinyl days of the late 80s

Originally hailing from portside Gothenberg, he moved out to Moscow more than a decade ago, playing and running clubs in the vibrant Moscow clubscene. He quickly gained traction on the local dance scene, playing at Pacha Moscow amongst others.

One of Martin’s key traits are his profound knowledge of music, which he combines with an instinctive feeling for the pulse of the dance floor. Martin’s passion are reflected in every set he makes and has secured him a growing following of dedicated Discoholics.

MartinMax spans multiple genres from House to Disco, Funk and slow jams and it's obvious that his skills have been honed to perfection over three decades.

Since 2020 he's been part of Hot To The Touch by Discoholics Anonymous which airs weekly on Prime Radio in Greece to an audience of over 300.000.

DECENT RIDES is a project from the Bavarian natives Sebastian and Jesko. 

Through their long-term residency at the Magazin club in Töging, their common interests in making music quickly became apparent.

From that point on their intentions have been to develop a sound that reflects their eclectic taste, incorporating hip-hop, jazz, disco and house, which is where their roots are from.

You’ll recognize the ruff, rugged and raw spirit both in their music and in their Dj sets. 

To date they have released on quintessentials, moment cinetique, morris audio, nervous nyc, the basement discos, see saw, sundries

@simonhinter is an artist who we have been keeping close tabs on since he dropped his Tired Up Ep on Jimpster's Freerange back in 2020. His output since then has been brilliant including releases with Kerri Chandlers Madhouse label, Quintessentials, Nitegrooves and another outing on Freerange. He's clearly and artist who is held is very high esteem by his peers.

His latest EP see's him jump onto @momentcinetique who are having their own golden run of releases. The resultant EP 'Before Choppa' is very brilliant indeed. After a brief break to recharge the batteries as we saw out 2021 @MomentCinetique are back, and in some style, with label regular Tiptoes. As we are coming to expect from @tiptoesmusic1 he has delivered an absolute scorcher of an EP featuring what is in essence a three part house movement.

Our premier today from the EP is Tape Crusades Part 1, a powerhouse deep house track. Featuring chunky club ready drums, loopy synth stabs and a variety of vocal samples which all add texture, movement and energy it's an outstanding piece of music.
