Digital Mess returns to SLC-6 Music with a powerhouse EP, 'Ascension.' The skilled Russian producer delivers three melodic techno monsters, 'Ascension,' 'Hollow,' and 'Induced,' created in his distinctive style - simultaneously lo-fi and crystalline, and simple yet rich in texture. Stepping up for remix duties are three veteran producers, Nikko.Z, D.J. MacIntyre, and Gleb Rubens. Nikko.Z takes on 'Ascension' and delivers a brooding remix brimming with dark power in his first appearance on the label. SLC-6 Music label owner D.J. MacIntyre tackles 'Hollow,' riffing on the melodic themes and winding them into a grand build-up in his progressive rendition. Belarusian Gleb Rubens returns with another patient and haunting track for the label, incorporating ghostly vocals into his hypnotic remix of 'Induced", capping off an outstanding release.

Our latest White Sand EP comes from acclaimed Spanish producer Pedro Sanmartín, who has created a flurry of lush soundscapes that rise and fall in intensity, driven forwards by snaking melodies and ethereal chords.

The opening track ‘White Sand', from which the release derives its name, exemplifies Pedro's mastery of taking his listeners on a journey.

As clipped vocal samples echo in the background, he teases and then releases beautiful modular synth lines, all the while playing with evocative pads to create a listening experience that is nostalgic yet beautiful, refined yet loose.

His dub version of the title track follows next on the EP, and builds on his already stellar work. Now with added weight to the kick drum, the track feels heavier, but also more pared back. Pedro trades in some of the more prominent melodies from the original version for a mix that centers itself around its percussion, with the result being six straight minutes of groove that will perfectly soundtrack many Mediterranean sunsets this summer.

On ‘Atlantis', the producer delivers a sweeping, dreamlike funk that will fill any dancefloor. Glittering arpeggios are punctuated by thick, stabbing base notes, creating an irresistible combination. The drums are simple and allow the gorgeous, shimmering melodies space to breathe, while being bouncy enough to push the rhythm forwards.

For remix duties, we've recruited Plecta and Nhar, who each take their turns at offering their own unique spin on the Spaniard's original productions.

Nhar goes straight for the kill with his French House inspired remix of ‘Atlantis'. Featuring a disco-tinged groove, combined with a stiff beat and repeating bassline, he establishes an intoxicating rhythm straight away that does not let up for a full eight minutes.

Meanwhile, Plecta introduces soaring, hypnotic vocals to ‘White Sand', creating an entirely new atmosphere, something altogether more lyrical and mysterious. But rather than soften the original track up, he adds new rolling djembe drums and a new swing that makes Plecta's take immediately danceable.

Australian producer Kazuki drops his third Late Night Music EP ‘Object', with two dubby, progressive house cuts.

The title track is underpinned by an acid bass line and heavy pads, while ‘Presence' features a driving synth groove and filtered vocals.

Kazuki’s passion for hypnotic, progressive house and techno permeates everything he does - whether he’s spinning lush daytime grooves or dark headcavers on a late night dance floor.

Based in the city of Canberra on Ngunnawal country, Australia, Kazuki has established himself as an adept DJ and electronic music producer building on a lifelong love of music.

Perfecting his skills in the outdoor festival scene, Kazuki’s enthusiasm for creating energy and atmosphere in his craft sees him as a sought-after underground DJ, performing at dusty dancefloors across his home country for more than 10 years.

A curator of music sees Kazuki as co-owner of progressive house label Late Night Music alongside Melbourne producer James Beetham, providing a globally focused platform for Australian and international artists who share their vision for deep progressive beats.

Kazuki’s studio productions and remixes have seen industry support from and played by artists including John Digweed, John 00 Fleming, Guy J, Nick Warren, Subandrio, Max Graham, Anthony Pappa, Jamie Jones, Ewan Rill, and Mike Griego, with releases on labels such as JOOF Recordings and Deepersense Music.

He’s performed at a diverse array of festivals including Babylon, Psyfari, Dragon Dreaming, Psyland, and even a solar eclipse festival in Indonesia - as well as prominent venues and parties across Australia. As well as his own top billing sets, Kazuki has played support slots for artists such as Guy J, Extrawelt, Andhim, Jamie Stevens, Kazu Kimura, Late Nite Tuff Guy, and Merkaba.

Jero Nougues (The Soundgarden / Arcedian / Droid9) joins the Saturo Sounds family with a two-track progressive house EP, "Cycles".

He writes:

The concept of this EP started as a way to show the contrast between light and shadow, dark & light.

'Void' embodies the concept of the dark, taking the musical form of a more dark, rhythmically driven track, wide-spaced atmospheres, and effects with long-delayed effects, oriented into a more dancefloor-friendly track thought for more high-energy sets.

'Cycles', on the other hand, embodies the concept of 'Light', a more melodically driven track, with long sustained chords contrasted by a pulsating bass and crispy drums that, combined, generate a feeling of harmony, happiness, and a drop of mystery thrown with that little dissonance that appears from time to time. Both tracks come together to form an EP that personifies life itself, that we always have to live with the dark and light within ourselves and the things that surround us. In the end, we should just dance our problems away and make the best out of everything that's thrown at us."
