Newly-minted UK duo Deep Fiktion, comprised of rising artists Eldeanyo and Greg Willowe, might be new kids on the block, but they bear all the hallmarks of seasoned pros. French DJ and producer, Dorian Craft makes his debut on Nic Fanciulli’s Saved Records this month with his eagerly awaited, ‘Sei Koya’ EP. With recent successful releases on respected labels including RADIANT, 303lovers, Stereo, MoBlack and Selador and his productions receiving support from tastemakers; Black Coffee, Chus & Ceballos, Nic Fanciulli, Sébastien Léger, Audiofly, Super Flu and radio recognition from Friday night Radio 1 legend, Pete Tong. Kicking things off is title track, ‘Sei Koya’ which showcases Dorian’s signature sound; mixing ethnic grooves and melodic vibes with a subtle touch of Techno and jam-packed with rattling percussion and a medley of Afro drums. ‘The Theater’ rounds off the EP with more Afro flavours, inventive rhythms, ominous synth patterns and sparking hi-hats, all glued together with a deliciously thick bassline, sure to pump up the energy levels on any dance floor.
