Tight and soulful UK tech-house from one of the masters of the genre, 'The Light' is a vocal-driven dancefloor workout that is sure to ignite clubs this season. No stranger to the limelight, @willtaylor-uk has brought his uniquely muscular style of dance music to some of the biggest venues and festivals in the biz. Some highlights include his multi-summer residency at the revered Amnesia Ibiza, as well as successive appearances at We Are FSTVL and gigs at Studio 338, Tobacco Dock, Motion Bristol and Soho Garden Dubai. One of the most prolific acts on the scene, Taylor has released music on such storied imprints as elrow, Spinnin Deep, Repopulate Mars (Lee Foss' label), Hot Fuss, South Of Saturn, Glasgow Underground, Viva, Roush, Superfett and NONSTOP. He has worked with Roland Clark, remixed Steve Lawler and been remixed by John Summit. In the words of the man himself "I believe 'The Light' is a perfect showcase of the sound I make: deep, underground grooves with an infectious vocal!"

Italian pairing YOUniverse make their Solid Grooves debut with 'Feels Right'.

Continuing to curate a sound that is undoubtedly their own, uniting established names and hotly-tipped talents worldwide, Michael Bibi and PAWSA's Solid Grooves Records continues to serve up some of the biggest records in rotation for a host of the scene's most prominent artists. Fresh from their long-awaited Miami Music Week takeover at Space, the attention turns to the music as they welcome rising Turin-based duo YOUniverse for their first appearance on the label with 'Feels Right'.

Fusing shuffling, gritty drums and slithering low-ends with alluring and mysterious female vocals, 'Feels Right' slots in right at home on Solid Grooves as the label delivers yet more Dancefloor-orientated goodness set to make global crowds move.

Sometimes you make two tracks that are worlds apart but work so well side by side as a single release. Such is the case with 'Dub Track' and 'Combustion' from Rob Hes and Steve Slight.

New to the label but impeccably well-versed in the game, the Dutch/Belgian friends have collaborated on Sudbeat and Selador in the past. Now they make their debut on Joris Voorn's Spectrum with two deliciously contrasting late night missives.

'Dub Track' takes us back to the early 2000s with its stripped back charm. Think DC10 and 6am sets by Sascha Dive or Silicone Soul; a bulldozer full of eerie tension made solely of kicks, subs and hypnotic synth washes.

'Combustion' meanwhile provides the ultimate flip. Masterful in its pace and sense of theatre, maximal in its high voltage pay-off, this one powers into life in a whole new way after the breakdown. A real level-booster of a track that lives up to its engine-like name, this will raise roofs, arenas and the stars in the open skies this festival season.

Every time Solid Grooves Records co-founder PAWSA steps out on the label, it's an event that turns heads and brings global attention for a good reason. After returning alongside his partner-in-crime Michael Bibi for a very special Ibiza closing party, with both manning the decks at a jam-packed DC10 garden, he steps out on the main label for the first time this year, following the release of 2022's iconic 'Room Service (24 Hour Mix), and drops another certified anthem with 'Dog Days'.

Skippy and slick, with those signature touches and hooky vocal samples that give his productions that unmistakable groove, 'Dog Days' is another track you're going to be hearing a lot of following its release as the London favourite continues to prove exactly why he's one of the best in the game.

THE SHAPESHIFTER

Solid Grooves has built a strong following of loyal fans over the years. Starting out as an event series, the London based brand has since achieved global success including a prevalent Ibiza residency last year. Launching as a label in 2015, it wasn’t long before Solid Grooves Records topped Beatport’s overall charts with Wade’s remix of Dennis Cruz ‘See Line’ and cemented its reputation as an infallible imprint, releasing music from names such as Kuo Climax, ONNO, David Pher and Brett Gould.

Dennis Cruz leads the way with ‘Fake’, a vocal focused track with throbbing bass, chopped up samples and infectious percussive components before Franz Costa’s ‘Kate’ blends a medley of intricate rhythmic elements for a trippy low-slung production.

The label co-founders are up next, with Michael Bibi unleashing a roaring low-end in ‘Devil’s Candy’ whilst a spoken word sample operates through, making way for PAWSA’s ‘Taking Over’ – an atmospheric house track geared for powerful subs featuring dub inspired stabs and sharp hats. Reelow then concludes the package, demonstrating his signature style with a cacophony of percussion and mesmerizing effects.
