Solo acoustic arrangement of the English Christmas song 'In the bleak midwinter'. It was originally a poem by the English poet Christina Rossetti and set to music by composer Gustav Holst in 1906. This arrangement is based on the recording by English Folk singer songwriter and guitarist Bert Jansch.

Song I wrote for the ill-fated Lover at your door album by powderblue. I like the way the guitar parts turned out. Not too much overdubbing or fiddling. We weren't trying to emulate them but this track has a feel of Camera Obscura, Belle and Sebastian and Lloyd Cole.

Deep Sea Divers is a musical project of singer / songwriter and guitarist Dinesh Fernando. So called because, it's easier for people to remember and spell than my actual name. 

The band name has been through many incarnations and in the early days we were often compared to The Smashing Pumpkins which was odd as we had had never heard of them at the time. 

I've always liked the name and now use it for my musical projects - the first album has been finished and available to buy at the website. 

It is influenced by many diverse acts: classic singer songwriters such as Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake and John Martyn plus bands such as American Music Club, The Sundays, Cocteau Twins and Red House Painters.
