Wave Catchers - 80' Spirit

Palace Vinyl presents the limited edition fourth instalment on the in-house label Palace Trax and second release on the imprint by 4:32AM titled The FeFe EP. 4:32AM presents another extremely well-rounded record with all tracks recorded as live studio jams.

The record opens with an acid-tinged rolling rhythm situated between deep house and techno with a leaning toward the housier side of things. Detroit-inspired stabs and dreamy synth lines atop a deep, plodding bassline on 'Crystal'.

The title track 'FeFe' is a warm deep house groove that marks a more relaxed moment within the record. The EP closes with a chugging house track layered with sweeping synths and serene melodic elements.

All tracks tuned to 432Hz.

We’re thrilled to present The Cap Boy’s debut this Thursday, February 6th, at Les Enfants. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s in store for the night.

Talking about The Cap Boy means talking about rhythm and fun. Through his music, he perfectly captures the essence of DSS! 

He’s already delivered a hit, One Night Stand, for our label, and we’re working on another release that’s set to be a game-changer!

1. How and where was the mix recorded?

I recorded this mix in the studio I have in Valencia. To be honest, it’s the first time I’ve recorded, and I wanted it to be something less experimental and more energetic.

2. Can you tell us about the idea behind the mix?
My main idea behind this mix was to give it my absolute identity. I love the electronic era of the 2000s, as well as groove and energy. I wanted to convey a bit of what my sets are usually like in Valencia’s clubs.

3. What are you up to next? Projects, ideas…

My upcoming projects include productions that I’ll release on my own and a very special collaboration for the Días De Campo album, which will be out in May. As for my goals as an artist, they are to move beyond Valencia and be able to play all over the world, sharing my musical vision and my essence.

4. Lastly, for you what is Dance, Shake, Swing!?

For me, Dance, Shake, Swing! conveys everything I love about electronic music: energy, innovation, and passion for this world. It’s a project led by two people who have given me the opportunity to grow, and I believe it will expand greatly thanks to the passion and dedication they are putting into it!
