Written in 1991 and recorded in 1992. Was a hit on mp3.com in 2000, was playlisted heavily on US radio shows like Echoes throughout the noughties and we still hear it on the telly in the UK in 2013! Does this mean we can call it a timeless classic ;)

It's on most of our CDs! There's an extended version called "at the heart of the cyclone" on "the new fast lane".

Released on mp3.com on 5 september 2001, just days before you know what. I was approaching the end of what I saw as my second childhood. That's what this is about. And it's dedicated to my friend Dom who never reached his second childhood's end. 

An alternate shorter take without percussion appeared on our "highlands & skylands" CD. This is the original version.
