Parisian producer and DJ, Obbie is purveyor of rich harmonies and crisp and warm sounds that transport souls. His live sets are filled with moments of high drama where blankets of melancholia are draped around your shoulders in warm embraces, and his productions are no less eventful.

‘Golden Linings’ opens with groove. Ethereal voices float above the sparse percussion and a warm, homely feeling invites you to stay a while. Sombre piano evokes deep thought as the groove intensifies midway and angelic vocals drift in and out. On remix duties, Omer Tayar and Omer Bar toughen the groove with subtle tribalism and airy pads. Pushing the vocal to the front adds a new dimension.'

A year after ‘Modelo’ comes ‘Miracle Of The Rose’, an evocative and authentic development of Horvat’s sound. On ‘Noise’, the vocals of Lelah give way to a stripped-down, reverberant groove.
