hi everyone . it's been a minute since we hosted a mix . we are very proud to bring to you a mix by 2 of the most elegant djs out of New york . Pls meet the duo Musclecars .

Native to New York, musclecars is a DJ / Producer duo consisting of Brandon Weems and Craig Handfield. As musicians, they equally share an admiration for the artform. Their desire to blend genres and express their appreciation for music is focused around their community- the end goal is to bring people together. Through a regular stream of high quality mixes, they have begun to turn heads in underground circles. 

In 2018 they launched ‘Coloring Lessons’, a party that was aimed to add value to their city’s nightlife culture. While the party and sound is not genre specific, it is heavily focused around house, disco, jazz, and soul, embracing the musical elements of their black and brown ancestors. They aim to spread the music that has been influential to them, and share it with a younger generation of their peers.

The boys have had the attention and support from artists such as Arapu, Enzo Siragusa, East End Dubs, Prunk, Chris Stussy, Fabe and many more. As well as their production they are no stranger to the clubs, playing venues such as Watergate, Tresor, Pacha Barcelona, Zoo Project Ibiza, Propaganda club Moscow and Claire Amsterdam to name a few. Its an exciting time for the brothers although they have already made their mark firmly in the underground scene.

Ralo is a Cuban-American DJ and producer from Miami now living in Atlanta. He has shared the decks with the likes of Dj Sneak, Doorly, Doc Martin, Oscar G (WMC 2018), Jesse Perez (Mr. Nice Guy showcase Miami) , Frankie Bones (Wildpitch), Tripmastaz (Alley Cat) Ardalan & Justin Martin (Space 2) and Treasure Fingers (The Music Room).

His most notable productions have been released on Jesse Perez’s Mr. Nice Guy Records, Dj Sneak’s I’m a House Gangster and Kerri Chandler’s MadTech. Ralo’s side project Designerz started with partner Strada which landed them the #1 spot on Beatports DeepTech/minimal charts with the track “Party.”

The exhibition presented memories of the last decade (2009-2019) of São Paulo's art and electronic music scene. Showcasing 80 artists representing 30 collectives, responsible of creating and strengthening a new art movement in Brazil.
