One of the archetypes of Italian Dream House Don Carlos is the producer behind one of the scene's most renowned records Alone. Now back producing he has been in strong demand since his return to the scene a couple of years ago. His latest release see's him stepping up to remix New Zealand duo Manuel Darquart, one of the current champions of the dream house sound, for Wolf Music, The result is a truly spellbinding remix which feels both classic and absolutely perfect in 2021. It's a must have for those summer sets.

He cut his teeth in local sex clubs, warehouses, and dive bars but has become a major player on the bubbling American Queer Underground nightlife circuit as well as International jaunts to play for the likes of Buttons Berlin and Savage Hanoi. His monthly party Gimme A Reason has been fostering space for queer nightlife in New Orleans for over 9 years. He’s also 1/3 of queer and women lead  DJ collective Trax Only and 1/2 of DJ duo Babygirl. Trax Only have become infamous for their one off warehouse raves that expose New Orleans to a plethora of national and international queer talent as well as their compilation SOFT TOUCH EXPRESS, a survey of producers from the American Queer Underground.

It's been a while since we properly caught up with @seanmccabe, based in Bristol, Sean is one of the UK's finest house producers, he is also behind the classy label @goodvibrationsbristol which consistently releases some of the finest Soulful house around.

His latest project is an album with Chicago songwriter and producer Harold Matthews Jr who has worked with the likes of Ron Trent, Terry Hunter, Maurice Joshua and Ron Carroll crafting songs such as “Ritual Of Love” and Barbara Tucker’s “I Get Lifted”. 

We have a full interview with Sean incoming about the project, in the meantime he put together a worship mix for us picking out some of Harold Matthews Jr's finest moments. It's an incredible mix showing the depth and breath of his work.

Growing up in the UK, Carrie discovered her love of house music at the tender age of 14, when she started attending acid house parties. After moving to London at age 20, she became a resident DJ at the Friendly Society, a SoHo bar where she warmed up the London crowds before they went out clubbing. During her five-year residency, she also began playing at clubs and bars in Brixton, branching into soulful house and disco. She was fortunate to DJ with most of her DJ idols and favorite producers before leaving the UK for San Francisco in 2010. In SF, Carrie continues to play a combination of nu disco, classic disco, and house under the moniker CarrieOnDisco, with a singular focus on bringing joy to the dance floor. She has DJed at the Stud, Holy Cow, the Lookout, the Eagle, BeatBox, New Parrish, and Oasis. She is one of the resident DJs at Pound Puppy and has played for SF institutions including Honey Soundsystem, Some Thing, Hard French, Polyglamorous, and Go Bang.
