His style is full of color and imagination where jacking beats to deep tribal soul come together as a unique art form.  My project @wreckednyc which includes my buddy @mistersmithnyc opens up the first hour. This session is a preview of what to expect at the Summer Wrecked party on July 17. This DJ mix is a collection of some of my favorite dub mixes (those Dub Reggae-inspired remixes on the flips of disco & house 12"s that have most, but not all, of the vocal stripped away, replaced with a ton of heavy, psychedelic effects on top). 
People have been putting dub mixes on their singles for at least 40 years, so I've tried to go through the eras and give a taste of how things have evolved. Hope you like it :)

Chrissy is a genre-bending DJ/producer with releases on 17 Steps, Dansu Discs, Super Rhythm Trax, Chiwax, Classic, Freerange, Razor N Tape, Nervous, and more. He specializes in rave-influenced sounds, Chicago house, and disco, but his 20-year career has ranged from jungle to footwork to freestyle, with gigs at Panorama Bar, Smartbar (where he held a residency from 2015-2018), and his residency at San Francisco’s oldest and most storied queer club, The Stud.
 
Chrissy is also a well-regarded voice on dance music history—he ran the popular “My Year of Mixtapes” blog, posting original genre-focused DJ mixes every week for a year. He wrote the liner notes for Hardcore Traxx: Dance Mania Records 1986-1997, and has written about dance music history for RBMA, XLR8R, and Electronic Beats.

Panooc (PAH-nook, They/Them) is a UK-based DJ, instrumentalist & producer. 
There is something about the freedom found on a dark dance floor that holds so much possibility. For  Panooc, a classically trained jazz musician, the dance floor was a space to explore their inner self and  find new forms of self-expression in electronic music.  
Years of performing and writing music have given the Scottish producer an intuitive and organic  approach to the studio. Their latest releases on Sorry Records and .WAVCAVE meld rolling bass  rhythms with jazz riffs and classic house vibes, moody melodies with uptempo beats, off-kilter melodic  bloops with smashing drums, and disparate influences from all things in-between and on the fringes.  
Panooc’s DJ sets draw from crates full of house, techno, acid, breaks, disco, and leftfield bass,  integrating live saxophone and adding layers of sound and improvisation to tap into the collective and  immediate exchange of energy between the DJ and the dancefloor. They have brought their deeply  groovy sets to the sound systems of the colorful House of Yes in New York City, Glasgow’s fabulous  queer party Shoot Your Shot, Dalston Superstore in London, and the legendary Tresor Berlin, to name  just a few. 
When it comes to musical chops, Panooc is second to none, and you can hear it in every song and  every DJ mix. Their deep reverence for jazz and their deft combinations of rhythm and melody are a  true pleasure for the ears and a salve for the soul, finding that dance floor inside each of us where we  are truly free.
