Knate Koti (Areipeleng Mogomotsi Mona)  born in Bloemfontein South Africa on the 18th of September 1989. He fell in love with music at a young age but specifically with house music through the influence of the international artists like Franck Roger, Kerri Chandler, Osunlade, Julien Jabre, Gregory Darsa and Charles Webster. Through his love for music, he ended landing inside the circle of some the biggest music lovers in South Africa, who not only triggered but also raised the passion to create his own music, hence the creation of the duo “Nsk & Knate”. Knate Koti always wanted to DJ as hobby or rather as an extra mural activity while still pursuing his Academic career of being a Public Official.  He studied at Central University of Technology where he obtained a Degree in Public management.  
He was later introduced to radio by Kurbin Blow, a well known legend  who gave him the opportunity to Co-Host on a local community radio station called Motheo FM on a show called The Hot Spot.  He later scored a role of being a Content Producer at CUT FM and produced a Deep House show called The “House of Deep”. Knate Koti is constantly exploring new styles and genres, his musical endeavour promises to thrill his fans for years to come.  Recondite Tryst Podcast is one of the initiatives He took to create a plat-form for showcasing His talent of both dee-jaying and music production.  Some of the mixtapes published in His Podcast include tracks that He produced, including tracks like "Knate Koti - Ground zero" and "Knate Koti - Lost customs".  In 2016 one of his song got played on Metro FM on the Urban Beat Show for local club bangers and in 2018 he was invited to drop a mix on Lesedi FM.  In 2019 received much love from the deep house enthusiasts like Lars Berenhoth who played it in on his well respected podcast called “Deeper Shades of House”.
