A Huge day for us at the Ready Mix HQ has just landed. We finally hit the 100th single release benchmark and would like to thank everyone who has followed and supported us over the past 14 years. 

And what better way for us to celebrate this milestone than bringing back a classic hit from the early 2000's and dedicate it in loving memory of Nkemdi Amadume's heavenly voice that actually sung it in collaboration with the legendary NYC Duo John Creamer & Stephane K.

This release will be split into 2 packs with Vol.1 containing (The Club Remixes) with remixes by the world renowned NYC DJ/Producer who has paved the way for so many of us Mr Angel Moraes from (Hot & Spycy New York and of course Club Stereo in Montreal) along with the Londoner and owner of Alola & SexOnWax Recordings Mr Omid 16B, the Canadian-Hungarian connection Beat Factory, Lonya & Roi Okev from the Cat & Dog parties, and the new comer who has already made a huge impact with his previous releases with us Mika Olson.

On Vol.2 (The Deep Remixes), you will find remixes by label boss-man BiG AL who collaborates with Omid 16B to deliver a summer masterpiece, the pack also included remixes by Harlem Knights, Addex, Prosis, Seraphine's new moniker The Noisy One and last but now least, another Canadian-Hungarian connection powered by Big AL & Levente Szabo aka The Suppliers.

Resteed - Utopia [Crossfade Sounds]

It is the end of a long and dusty road for compilation series, The Wild Army, with Volume 8 the final instalment. Victory can be claimed over, err, something (mediocre music/dance floors/humans).

True to form, it's a global EP with artists from Mexico City, Sydney, Naples, and Hebden Bridge. First up, label favourite La Guardia De La Luz does what he does best, with en epic psychedelic disco mid-tempo chugger. Subtle rhythm guitar, bouncing bass and 80s pads set the scene for strings and stabs as they work their magic.

Next up, Uomo Meccanico takes the red eye for a late night hypnotic slice of electronic house music. Shimmering stabs, trippy pads and filtered vocal sample build into epic deepness. One for the floor as the light creeps in at 6am and everything starts going sideways.

Johnny Deep takes his electronic funk low and slow. Pops, glitches, and burbles provide some serious swing over a bottom end that rides the sub. Slow burning dance floor ignition guaranteed. 

Finally, Flash Atkins brings the soul with a track that is as loose and easy as a Mediterranean summer. Amy Collins sings of an early morning walk home after a loved up encounter on the dance floor as Dan Goldman lays the keys and grooves for some disco love.

Closing our summer catalogue, it's time to present 'On My Own'! Kanedo and singer Natalie Z joined forces crafting this unique, smooth and charming single where Natalie's stylishness meets Kanedo's approach to Deep House music.

On the track, you'll find emotional melodies building up an atmosphere where Natalie Z's vocals shine through, all driven by its warm bass and groove. But the most important thing about songwriting - you'll find a meaning and a story behind all that.

The second original track, “Seduction”, takes a deeper path with its sublime melodics, cascading pads, and metrical rhythms. DJ Funky T’s Seranade Mix of “Do Your Thing” rearranges the samples while utilizing a new arrangement and recapitulation of the main melody. The Couch Bastards Remix takes a techier approach to the proceedings by developing upon reiterating phrasing motifs from the original on top of smooth cadences.
