Originally from CPT South Africa, his musical background started as a rock band musician where he played rhythm guitar and was a vocalist for a local band. A few years later the band parted ways. This was the catalyst to experimenting with electronic music and self taught music production.

With a forward thinking approach to electronic/ house music & a constant urge to delve into remnants of early 2000s vinyl's, a unique a approach of curation has developed over the years and continues to be the driving force on this journey of sonic bliss

The Core

Disco Daze is a Cape Town based DJ /Producer, member / A & R for label Deep Society Music.

Aspiring to be a musician, it all started with playing guitar and writing music for a band formed with a group of friends during high school years. 

Music production later become an interest as a progression towards solo projects and demos. It was not too long before my calling for electronic music emerged. 

Being frequently in and around electronic music events I gravitated naturally to the sounds of house music. Curation started, followed by joining CAC Pioneer DJ academy and since have featured at many events in Cape Town. 

2019 I released my debut EP 'Mul Zibanu' with Deep Society Music & shortly teamed up the year to follow. 2020 followed up with remix's on Oh So Coy 150th release & Ginelio's 'At Dawn' EP (DSM). 2021  was a stellar year releasing EPs on labels Canopy Sounds, Organica Sounds, Sandega & Bekool Records. 

2022 Disco Daze has already seen two tracks chart on Beatports Best New Hype Organic House H/D January & Weekend Picks 2: Melodic respectively. A recent release with Deep Society Music titled 'Sekhmet EP' is one of many releases to come this year.
