Odyssey Remixed Part 2

PREMIERE: Holly North - Far Away feat. Lukas Antal (Kalipo Remix) [3000 Grad]

There is a tendency within modern electronica to pigeonhole and categorise, to package music into easily digestible formulae. In direct revolt comes Dutch artist Satori and his new album Dreamin’ Colours, released globally April 22nd, 2022, on renowned imprint Crosstown Rebels. Recorded at the esteemed Sonic Vista Studios in Ibiza, the nine-track LP has been greatly anticipated off the back of its proceedings singles: Yellow Blue Bus ft. Laska, Lalai ft. Ariana Vafadari and most recently Gin Song. 

Troublemaker ft. El Mundo retains an inherent melodic quality, progressing through poignant strings and whispering kick-hat combos. It leaves us feeling pensive, as Condor ft. Ora Dea, Moshe Halperin comes next. It’s the album’s penultimate piece, one that celebrates the native people of Chile through the use of their very own language. Powerful and poignant, the mesmeric sounds of Ora Dea and Moshe meander subtly into Lonely Boy (Redux) ft. Hugo Oak. The closing saga brings things to a wonderfully subdued finish, rounding off the album on a wholeheartedly calming note.

His EP ‘5 Years’ gives a diverse sound that lets you dream and makes you want to dance. The first track is ‘Everest’ and shows the direction of the EP - upwards. The bassline frames the melody und guides us up the first meter, until we break through the clouds with ‘Through Clouds and Dust’ and feel the sun on our skin. This track, with its quiet sound will make you stop for a while and enjoy the moment. After a short moment of quiet, the intensive claps and the sawtooth wave will guide you to the climax. About the release
„Insel Der Jugend“. A collective, an event series, a family, a lifestyle. This electronic music cosmos is based in Magdeburg, Germany. Since their early beginnings they have worked to share their passion for electronic music with the city, inviting fantastic artists to their club and open air spaces, and so creating a little island of playful spaces for people to come together.
Now they are ready to launch the label “Kompass”, and they have invited some of their closest allies to give you the very first release. Label boss Dan Cero got together with Beatamines and Stephan Zovsky for “The Island”, setting off the label start with a big bang. Their track is a dark and driving masterpiece. Flushing percussions meet a growling bassline that pulsates along piercing synth elements. It all melts together to an ethereal atmosphere.
