In Hindu Philosophy and some Indian religions, samskaras or sanskaras (Sanskrit: संस्कार) are mental impressions, recollections, or psychological imprints that colour one's thoughts and actions, and form the basis for the development of karma theory.
In Buddhism, the Sanskrit term samskara is used to describe "mental formations," "will," and many other concepts; in Pāli it is referred to as saṅkhāra.

According to various schools of Indian philosophy, every action, intent or preparation by an individual leaves a samskara (impression, impact, imprint) in the deeper structure of the person's mind. These impressions then await volitional fruition in that individual's future, in the form of hidden expectations, circumstances or a subconscious sense of self-worth. These Samskaras manifest as tendencies, karmic impulses, subliminal impressions, habitual potencies or innate dispositions.

Born in East Berlin, Germany, San Miguel were floating through the legendary Berlin sound vortex already in early ages and learnt quickly to juggle with all variations of frequencies and tunes. He's a real master of clashing with the styles and performed in the most different locations around the world. His work comprises trance-like healing sessions, multicultural booty-shaking down tempo as well as deep grooving acid beats.
As producer he loves to experiment with deep synth, gentle spheres and a range of acoustic instruments to reconnect us back to the universal essence of all. 

The cover art work is a contribution of Radka Soulart. Radka Tiarksova's highly vibrating art is a true blessing and is just as lively, colorful & profound as the life we call reality. We’re deeply grateful for this special collaboration and are happy to have the possibility to share it with all of you. <3

For our whirling Monada father San Miguel we choose Radkas „Freedom“ of her series „12 gifts“: The colorful spreading wings of the phoenix and the psychedelic textures are just perfectly mirroring the soundscapes of the mix as well as the shining being of San Miguel himself, while FREEDOM is a main point we will never get tired fighting for at our beloved Monada Project!

The intro is a collaboration with San Miguel's talented daughter and will accompany us furthermore through our podcast journeys.
