one of the most original tracks i have heard here.   it’s weird, wonderful and interesting sonically.   thays bassline is killer!   such a savage groove.  love the vocals.

It was hard to choose a first single, but releasing ‘cute as hell’ on Valentine’s Day felt right. It’s an anti-commercial ode to fancying somebody and having no idea what’s going on in their head. It’s also about how scary love is, because you have to give up control and surrender yourself to this tidal wave of impulsive emotion. When we were working on the album, ‘cute as hell’ was literally the last song we wrote; the lyrics are playfully ironic and also have a constant kind of manic energy that definitely stems from the deep, restless depths of the pandemic

Italian post-punk band Leatherette have announced the release of their debut album 'Fiesta', due out on 14th October via Bronson Recordings.

They have now shared the first single, 'So Long', an extravagant and catchy slice of modern post punk, full of rugged noise and crushing melodies. The band explain: "It is a song about struggling to the point you feel you hit rock bottom. Screaming about it might not be the answer to the problem, but we must confess it was quite fun and liberating. Loud, acid, alien guitars, and a punchy, hypnotic rhythm section were surely helpful to the process".
