A fun, Tech-House track produced by Mr. Wright, with vocals from none other than San Diego based hair dresser the Beautician. This track samples a story told by the Beautician about a festival he once attended and how he and his identical twin brother were 'hated on' by the boyfriends of the ladies. This was due to their impeccable style and the attention they received from the girls attending this festival. All the twins could say was, 'Don't Be Mad'.

This track has already been festival tested, and is moving crowds with its catchy beat, dirty bass line, and the song's outrageous narrative. We welcome Low Groove to the fold and for this one Koop and Low Groove have teamed up to bring us a clever jam with production chops and enough nostalgia to bring us back to our childhood. Deep Tech Recordings launched its first release March 6 2020 as a sub label to Plus Plus with it's debut EP Systemic. 
The timing was bittersweet. Parties and events as we knew them went away, as it was the early days of the pandemic, but at the same time it was the perfect opportunity to learn how to run our bourgeoning record label. 

Suffice it to say that it's been 24 months since the pandemic and Deep Tech Recordings is proud to celebrate year two with no less than 22 releases. The only way it could have been more perfect is if we released this on 2/22/22 for DTR022. Oh well... 

So here we are at the 2 Year Anniversary EP! With features from Mr. Wright, Terry Jasinto, and Denied Music label boss Daniel Allen on Remix Duties. This year's yearly compilation showcases the re-release of Deep into the Future, Stargazers, and Wiggles.

Mr. Wright - Deep into the Future - Produced in late 2018 by Mr. Wright when he first arrived in San Diego, this track was always a personal favorite, but now with a much cleaner and more comprehensive and balanced mix, Deep into the Future is back for a re-release with an uplifting MLK Jr. I have a Dream Speech edit mixed into for good measure. Special Acknowledgement to Alina of COM for inspiring this one.

Mr. Wright - Stargazers (Daniel Allen Space Dub) - This awesome dub breathes life back into an obscure favorite that was written by Mr. Wright in 2019, the year leading up to the Deep Tech Recordings label launch. Played by his friend Louie G of French Toast at a night club in Sonora, Mexico the previously unreleased track set the club off (and we have the video to prove it). With a new sexy touch by Daniel Allen, this new Deep Tech Space dub version is guaranteed to get much air time this year and for years to come. Written in an Egyptian mode, this track does the trick late night with lots of low-end sexy Egyptian scale melody to boot.

Terry Jasinto - Wiggles (Mr. Wright Re-Edit) - Written by the enigmatic Terry Jasinto, this track samples Alan Watts and let's us know that life, as much as we want to put it in a box, is wiggly. This remix & re-edit bring an electro flavor to the dance floor, while showing us that this world is truly and utterly wiggly. Enjoy this over-the-top electro banger by Terry Jasinto and remixed by Mr. Wright.

It is truly humbling to say that we are two years deep into our Deep Tech Recordings Label Journey. Deep Tech Recordings is proud to have made it this far. However, suffice to say this journey would have never lasted as long as it has without the support of our friends in both Washington DC and San Diego CA. Thank you! The title of this track describes the vibe of this latest addition to the Deep Tech Recordings label to a T. Starting with a Tech-y kick and rumbling bass line along with a catchy refrain of 'Catch me in the Club!', this track progresses with authority and leaves you thirsting for more. The first part of the track is just the beginning because as you get to the midway point the track switches to a scintillating Acid House riff in the form of a bass line akin to the style of the genre defining Roland TB-303. The second half of the track is an 'acid trip' (the musical type). This expertly crafted track will certainly leave you begging for from this talented duo.
