2022 is very special for Illegal Alien Records, the label turned 15 years old this year and we have a full schedule line up of incredible and very special releases with many great artists.

We are extremely happy and proud to present you the part number 2 of our first 15 Years anniversary project which will be edited on limited Cassette Tape edition and Digital format. This is a 6 part series celebrating the 15 Years of Illegal Alien Records and includes a total of 60 exclusive tracks. We immensely thank all the great artists involved in this project for joining us in this celebration and contributing with their music to make this release very special. Over the years, some of the artists in this Compilation have already been part of our history, but some of them are joining us for the first time to be part of new chapters in our journey.

Moonlight Serenade Year 3036, the Third Empire of Human spans hundreds of star systems, only accessible by a faster-than-light spaceship. No other intelligent beings have ever been encountered, not until a light sail probe enters a human system carrying a dead alien. The probe is traced to the Ursea, an isolated star system in a thick dust cloud, and an expedition is dispatched. After a search that lasted thousands of years, humans stand on the verge of first contact with an alien race. The mission's objective: learn everything there is to know about the extraterrestrial intelligence. DJ Surgeles has a longstanding professional relationship with Detroit legend Jeff Mills. Connected through music, DJ Surgeles learned the insides and tricks of Jeff. Many conversations and meetings over the years led to this new concept, The Escape Velocity. DJ Surgeles has also collaborated exclusively with Jeff Mills on the concepts Something in The Sky and STRMRKD, and produced a special Axis Records 10 year anniversary release, The Bells: DJ Mix back in 2007.

Extracted from the long-awaited DUNA's debut compilation release and now available for your listening pleasure is Mike Parker's "High-Pass Dissection", premiering now on our channel. The track's tireless drilling loop entrances our mental receptors and, through well-repeated sound patterns, provokes a spiritual state of mesmerism. Giving the impression of a course through a spiraling dive with its surrounding drone ambiance, it supplements itself with a steady and stubborn percussion sequence to sustain this hypnotic soundscape that aims, in turn, to none other than our sensory engagement. With its obscurity as a pointy end, High-Pass Dissection carefully embraces and pierces its way into our dormant subconscious, making this track a shimmering example of the producer's more-than-sound method.
