REMASTER from an old analog mixtape for the '8AM Side' of my second mix tape DESERT FUNK, best copy we could find!  This side gives a nice window into some of the post sunrise, early morning  Moontribe vibes back in the early days. All vinyl like the 2AM, and a little rough around the edges mix-wise as well, this side features only 5 tracks but I had a lot of fun mixing them together and stretching out that first mix. Thanks to all of you sunrise lovers in the desert that inspired this side! Thanks again to Scott Cattanach for the fresh, original cover art, Ken Lawrence of Pure Acid Mixtapes for helping me spread the word, Moontribe for giving me a chance, LA DJ godfathers like Doc Martin, Steve Loria, and DJ Dan for their help and guidance, all the fans and promoters for their support, and of course the fabulous, rockin' artists who provide the music for this sonic journey.

Original Mix & Sahar Z Remix featured on Hernan Cattaneo's Resident radio show and Top 20 chart.

Santi Mossman & Rodrigo Mateo have been two of the most talked about new producers from the burgeoning progressive house scene in Argentina. Both Santi and Rodrigo have been firm favorites of Hernan Cattaneo this year with a long line of their productions earning club, radio, and chart support from the storied DJ.

'MicroCosmos' begins with crisp beats and a wonderful complement of drums. The introduction of warm bass tones, angelic pads, and wonderfully processed pianos lay down a strong musical theme as the composition begins to build. This heartfelt melodic component is perfectly offset with some rough vocal elements, which add just the right amount of character and gritty texture to the track’s celestial canvas. Shimmering trails of effects and panning percussion dominate the track’s apex which has the soaring harmonies reaching an elegant peak.

Making his third appearance on Perspectives is the well-known Hungarian producer Peter Golyan aka Lank. He’s become one of the most loved artists in the new school of progressive house and his releases on Proton, Mesmeric, and microCastle have been championed by the world's biggest DJs. Lank's interpretation goes down as one of his best productions to date. The morphing sheets of well-textured low end frequencies create a wonderful harmonic haze. The brilliant melodic theme is exquisitely recreated with heart-wrenching vocal stabs and quirky sequences of electronic tones which only further the deep emotional reaches of the record.

The second remix is provided by Sahar Z who, along with the original artists, is making his debut on the label. The Israeli studio veteran has a meticulous discography which includes appearances on Bedrock, Sudbeat, and Lost & Found. Sahar's 'MicroCosmos' interpretation adds some amazing funk to the track and works very well alongside the two more progressive sounding versions. The strong melodic themes from the original are presented in a much more restrained fashion and allows Sahar's trippier electronics and irresistible groove to really shine. This has already been featured in Hernan Cattaneo's monthly chart and radio show so you know it's one not to be missed!

Navid Mehr feat. Amber Long - Gathas is a gem that combines deepness with an uplifting edge effortlessly and smoothly, a sign of a superbly crafted tune. Ambers alluring vocals caress the subtle arpeggio line, while smooth pads layer beautifully creating a mesmerising outcome.

The 'Dub Mix' strips the vocal back, which seems to open the track to a tripper feel as the melodics ascend to the forefront, enveloping your mind in a warm blanket of sound.

'Elyon' is a mysteriously emphatic winner, combing its chunky groove with an eastern influenced hazy tones. Slightly melancholic, this oozes coolness from its every pore as you are sealed into its enigmatic grip.

Remix duties are eagerly taken by Stas Drive, have had music appear on Hope and microCastle, and so was the perfect addition to this rounded package. His remix of 'Elyon' is an accomplished voyage of sombreness that still manages to elevate your emotions, with is punchy ways, while the pads and sounds merge elegantly throughout.

Basing his sound heavily on his uniquely dark and twisted melodies, dubspeeka has created a brooding, atmospheric EP that capture each individual feeling on the techno scale from bouncing, energetic tracks to melancholic offerings. We've been waiting with great anticipation to officially announce the release date for our upcoming EP titled, “I n s i d e  M y  L o v e”.
Throughout the creative process of this record it was as if there was an almost unworldly force that was working through us, driving us along and inspiring us every step of the way.

With accompanying remixes from the likes of Soul Trader (known to most as Funkagenda), Randy Seidman, Saand, Dustin Nantais, and Brett Rubin, there’s sure to be a version that will suit everyone’s taste. All of these guys are incredibly talented producers, DJ’s and artists whom we feel truly blessed and privileged to have had the opportunity to collaborate with.

From top lines to low basslines, Deep Tribe have pummeled through each month of 2015 with brilliantly crafted EPs and singles. Kicking off the second half of the year, the boys are back on their mission to leave the dance floor in a devastating form as they prepare to release their next single “Inside My Love,” which will start mending broken hearts on Wulfpack this November 17th.

Basking in a sonic soliloquy, “Inside My Love” is a track that will take you on an interstellar journey. Starting in a wispy, Milky Way of reverb, “Inside my Love” leads-in with a percussion ensemble of claps-on-snaps over a steady kick drum and oscillating toms. Romantic pianos join the summation of sounds, each note twinkling like a chorus of stars. Fully embracing a mien of tranquility, down-pitched vocals timidly tunnel through the galactic dreamscape. The highlight of the track, though, comes towards the latter end of the breakdown. With the vocals suspended in air, jungle-inspired snares fade-in and boil over to a frantic, glitchy sequence, perfectly timed within its cataclysmic structure.

Simultaneously creating a warm wash of sounds with a cool, aired demeanor, Inside Your Love signals the call for a spaced-out, relaxing time.
