Wonderful!  At first the '80s synth sounds reminded me a little of Kraftwerk's "Pocket Calculator," but it quickly blossoms into gorgeous harmonies and intriguing rhythms.

Every week we say it: "For radio play your track MUST be uploaded to BBC Introducing. No upload = no airplay" And every week excellent new music by UK artists arrives in our inbox at Fresh On The Net that I can't even consider for my radio show. 

Sometimes the artists are non-UK residents but more often they simply didn't read the instructions. We receive far more great tunes than we can possibly play each week, so if yours isn't on the BBC Uploader when we come looking for it, we simply play one of the others instead.

He champions new independent artists on his podcast The BBC Introducing Mixtape on 6 Music and sponsors the music blog Fresh On The Net. He's also co-written songs with Elton John, Peter Gabriel and Dan Hartman over the years. The original Tom Robinson Band first became known in the 1970s as supporters of Rock Against Racism and LGBT rights, following their breakthrough hit  ‘2-4-6-8 Motorway’
