Temptations #020 (August 2021)

This month, my Temptations mix is quite personal. Because it includes an upcoming Breakbeat production of mine: 'Move me' is going to be released as one of three tracks on the 'Twilight' EP on Capital Heaven Records this October! Framewerk's productions have been fantastic and seminal, so I'm super happy to release on their label.
Also, this Breakbeat mix is personal because many of these records have shaped my taste, their drums, basslines and synths have been stuck in my head for many years - the kind of music you keep on humming over and over again. Roughly half of the tracks in this mix were released (way) before 2021, whereas usually I wouldn't play that many older records. 
In fact, some of these records served as reference tracks when producing and mixing 'Move me'. So it's a special moment for me to have my music standing alongside giants of this genre. A tribute to the (Progressive) Breaks genre and its marvelous producers.

Temptations #021 (Sep 2021)

The genre Progressive House as applied often today doesn't have much to do with the mood and vibes this term used to represent back when the genre was emerging and having its primetime. 
I recorded Temptations #022 in spirit of that classic, trippy Progressive House. Setting the mood with the opener 'Sunrise' from my recent EP on Capital Heaven, the set moves into darker areas before brighter and hopeful moods kick in.  Enjoy!

Day On The Beach May 16 2017

This is not one of my usual sets. If you enjoy listening to any kind of House Music or its sub-genres today, it was likely influenced by the sound of Disco and Funk back in the 70s. It is how it all began, the roots of what many of us love so much today. So, this one is to that era of pioneering sounds and ecstatic vibes. 

To maintain the original grooves, I avoided playing any kind of quantized new version (edits or remasterings), so expect original records.

Temptations #007 (August 2020)

Having grown up in a music oriented culture and family, surrounded by Persian instruments, Pedram found his musical roots in 70's Disco, Jazz, Psychedelia, Progressive and Deep House. As Deeve, he’s into any kind of atmospheric, deep music. His productions, remixes and sets range from Ambient to Downtempo, House, Breaks and groovy shades of Dub Techno. His monthly show ‚Temptations‘ showcases tracks from these various styles, creating journeys to relax, switch off, dance or dream.
