COTU, was born and raised in the Far East of Russia but always felt like he had the right to live as a Citizen of the Universe. Following his curiosity and hunger for adventure, he went to live in Thailand, where his friends organized the SIMIRAM festival(Koh Phangan), that’s when COTU discovered and fell in love with electronic music. He continued on his journey of sound exploration in the USA. He’s been since performing across all the states, from underground warehouse parties in LA, iconic Clinic Wednesdays , Minimal Effort at Globe Theater , staple California events like Deseract, Festivals in the Mojave Desert, the Burning Man Playa in Nevada (House of Love, Luna art Crane), to playing for the Florida-born Do Not Sit On Furniture.

The Niyamas (Sanskrit: नियम, romanized: Niyama) are positive duties or observances. In Dharma, particularly Yoga, niyamas and their complement, Yamas, are recommended activities and habits for healthy living, spiritual enlightenment, and a liberated state of existence. It has multiple meanings depending on context in Hinduism. In Buddhism, the term extends to the determinations of nature, as in the Buddhist niyama dhammas.

Virtues are extensively discussed in various ancient and medieval era texts of Hinduism. In its Yoga school, they are described in first two of eight limbs (steps, branches, components). The first limb is called yamas, which include virtuous self-restraints (the "don'ts"). The second limb is called niyamas which include virtuous habits, behaviors and observances (the "dos"). 
These virtues and ethical premises are considered in Hinduism as necessary for an individual to achieve a self-realized, enlightened, liberated state of existence (moksha).

Five Niyamas
In Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, the Niyamas are the second limb of the eight limbs of Yoga. Sadhana Pada Verse 32 lists the niyamas as:

- Shaucha (शौच): purity, clearness of mind, speech and body
- Santosha (सन्तोष): contentment, acceptance of others and of one's circumstances as they are, optimism for self
- Tapas (तपस्): austerity, self-discipline, persistent meditation, perseverance
- Svadhyaya (स्वाध्याय): study of self, self-reflection, introspection of self's thoughts, speeches and actions
- Ishvarapranidhana (ईश्वरप्रणिधान): contemplation of the Ishvara (God/Supreme Being, Brahman, True Self, Unchanging Reality), attunement to the supreme consciousness

Driving digital breaks, pulsating basslines and forward-thinking synthesis mark the core of De:zaro’s electronic sound, reeling in influences from past and present to shape the future. Based out of a small village in east Russia known as Sakhalin, De:zaro’s sound blurs the line between breaks, electro and retrowave, echoing inspiration from the likes of Maceo Plex, DJ Tennis and Adana Twinz.

De:zaro’s musical career was born at Burning Man 2015, over a few casual sessions sharing his music with other fellow ravers. They fell in love with his sound, sparking the confidence in him to become a professional DJ and take his sound to the stage.
