Deezy Barz is a 26 year old rap artist from the D.C Metropolitan area. Influenced by such emcess as Eminem, Ludacris, and Tupac. Deezy mixes a rapid intrepid flow with slow, lyrical punchlines. His skillset attempts to merge old school hip hop with that of modern day rap. With his father being a talented guitarist and overall musician in his own right, Deezy had the priveledge to access and utilize recording equipment at a young age. After writing several songs for his younger sisters, Deezy began serious recording at the age of 15. It was during this time that he met his cousin Tameko Wall who also gave him the stage name "Deezy". Deezy Barz spent the next 5 years writing and recording songs in his parent's basement which vastly improved his lyrical ability. Throughout his four years at Gwynn Park High, he performed at Talent Shows, and made himself known as an artist hungry for exposure. Deezy also spared no time in making his prescence known at both the University of the District of Columbia and University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Late in the summer of 2012, Tameko was fatally shot and killed. Deezy Barz had lost his longtime mentor and friend. Keeping the name he was given, Deezy continues his grind to become a force in the music industry: representing the "DMV" area.
 	Deezy Barz has performed at Six Flags America, several D.C clubs and outlets including D.C Soundstage and the Islander and recently had one of his songs played at Barclays Stadium in Brooklyn, New York before a professional boxer Steven Upsher Chamber's fight. Deezy Barz comes from a family of musicians and is related to producer and Gangsta Rap Era rapper Sam Sneed who mentors and works with the young artist. In Early 2013 Deezy Barz will be releasing his first official mixtape "The DMV LP."
