Sekhmet is a DJ from Bristol and a member of Full Spectrum, a collective pushing for diverse lineups in drum and bass. As well as being a resident for Full Spectrum, she's played for other Bristol labels such as Just Be, Redacted and Too Ill. Primarily a minimal dnb DJ, she enjoys playing a wide range of music, and in this mix you'll hear a multigenre blend of 140, jungle, breakbeat, garage and bass-heavy techno.

Seba & Paradox - Cypher

Part 2 of the ‘Drifting…’ trilogy of releases, ‘Keys For A Drifting Rose EP’ is the fourth release on Codename: RCRDS, the new label from Southampton-based jungle, 160 and atmospheric crew Codename: Amen. 

Keys For A Drifting Rose commences with ‘The One’ by the atmos master Okee, a dreamy inward looking roller for the ages, alternating haunting vocals perfectly capturing feelings of post-rave isolation. Man of the moment Mineral returns to the label with ‘Shallow’, contrasting chopped breaks, atmospheric tones and deep rumbling basses in a beautiful example of his truly unique sound.

Next up we find the prolific NonRev in commanding form, with the mysterious and powerful roller ‘Private Eye’, perfectly primed to get dancefloors moving with it’s rumbling basslines, intricate drum edits and catchy vocals, before the EP closes with Bottoni's fascinating reworking of ‘Shallow’, where a half-time rhythm is interspersed with the breakbeat choppage and atmospherics of Mineral’s original, clearly demonstrating the talents of this unique and talent artist.

Whilst Black Barrel and Ant TC1 were neighbours in Thailand for a short while, Black Barrel introduced Ant to some unfinished projects from the 90s by Karl Miller.  Immediately impressed by the sound and styles of these original ideas, they both quickly agreed on two tracks to rework which would form a Dispatch Blueprints release. 

Karl Miller and Black Barrel set about finishing these tracks, submitting ideas back and forth between each other to add their own styles and sound to these impressive tracks. Deep, atmospheric jungle music with an unmistakable modern twist.

Default Position is a London/Berlin-based record label founded by Joseph S Joyce which specialises in emotive forms of electronic music. The label gets its name from a term that is widely used in psychology, referring to a person's natural tendency or reaction to something or someone. A person's default position is often based on deeply embedded core beliefs about themselves or the world around them, often originating from childhood.
