Ten to the Twenty Third Power

The Nibiru Cataclysm is a doomsday event in which the end of the earth is caused by a collission between our planet and another planed-sized object. It was associated with the date 21/12/2012, on which the world was supposed to end. Obviously, it didn't. And if it did, we are currently all enjoying an afterlife which directly picked up from where we all died.

With this track I wanted to create a feeling of suspension, like something bad was about to happen which in the end does not happen at all. The Nibiru Cataclysm is obviously a hoax. But the story of the day that society was supposed to end but fails to do so, serves as the inspiration for this track. 

Vocals by my one year old daughter.

Mixtape 23-1

The tracks you find on this page are the first outputs of a new-found hobby. I don't have any music experience, I can't play any instruments, and I had never touched a DAW or synthesizer before I started out. However, I am a music enthousiast, electronic music in particular, and had been curious for a while if I could create something worth listening to. Thus, when forced into lockdown once more by the end of 2021 due to a certain virus we've all come acquainted with, I suddenly had some time on my hands and purchased a TD-3 and a DAW to start messing around with. 

I don't see myself as a producer or anything, the tracks you find here are unmastered and can be a bit rough around the edges. I hope to improve myself with each track I make. However, I hope that if you happen to stumble upon this page and find yourself listening to the first sonic outputs by my hand, you might actually like them a little :). 

Additionally, there are some mixes I made. Don't expect expert DJ-skills though, I only do this for fun.
