We're delighted to present a unique Burton Bass Takeover this month - our very own alien invasion, featuring the unique talents of one of the most creative DJs around at the moment - Zaba the Frog. Zaba has painstakingly crafted a mix inspired by H. G. Wells' The War of the Worlds, featuring a wide range of music including her own edits and samples. This is a real feast for the ears!

Zaba is a great advocate for grassroots music - she's hugely supportive of others' work and formed the Croakheads collective to champion other DJs. This commitment shows in the mix, with the intro track being a free download by an independent artist called kiefgruru. Croakheads are constantly releasing mixes by both up-and-coming and experienced DJs, so are well worth checking out. You never know, you might see some upcoming mixes featuring some familiar Burton Bass names . . .
