Back in 2023 we were lucky enough to release an exceptional podcast from Timnah - our ears were hooked! We immediately felt the potential and knew that she would be the DJ to provide the perfect festival afternoon soundtrack to our beloved forest.

Fast forward to Sunday afternoon at Monument Festival 2024, and Timnah’s set completely surpassed our already high expectations. From the moment she started, it was clear this was going to be something special.

Starting slow and deep, setting the stage like the opening of an epic tale, Timnah’s set unfolded layer by layer, note by note like a cinematic sonic story told deep in the forest by a master storyteller, one that could have only been by Timnah herself.

#ELVTInTheMix019 features @vedik_in a Bangalore based DJ and selector whose sound is rooted in groove-led, hypnotic techno with a deep focus on rhythm and repetition. With a style that draws from the deeper ends of Berlin inspired minimalism, he’s constantly shaping immersive journeys that blur the line between DJ and dancer. His recent release on Indian label Observant (which includes remixes from Alarico and Morgenstern) cements his evolving presence as both a selector and producer, showcasing his ability to distill subtlety into impact. Vedik's music has also graced the dance floors of legendary clubs including Berghain, Bassiani, Under club and more. 

In the nineteenth edition of ELVT In The Mix, Vedik delivers a carefully sculpted selection that leans into restraint and precision. The intro lays down the groundwork perfectly for the mix. Vedik delivers a tightly controlled techno workout that leans into raw, gritty textures and hypnotic momentum. It’s a set built on precision and patience, where the pacing is deliberate, drawing listeners into a deep, rolling groove that refuses to let go. Opened for Oddvision at Turbulence V10 on Aug 1 — re-recorded this set on the FLX4, fully from memory (shoutout to Ayush for taking the headphones to office).

Starts at 165 BPM halftime, dips into a vocal break, then cruises through 125–132 BPM into deep techno.
Would’ve been tighter with 3 decks, but I kept the original flow intact. Hope you enjoy the ride.
