Shambhala 2019 Mix Series - Mersiv

Halloween, representing freedom, fright, and creativity - is exactly how I approach building my live sets. I like having moments of utter cacophony and noise, moments of slow beauty, moments of horror, moments of emotion and sadness. 

This mix features originals, collabs, customized edits, and music from some of my friends & favorite producers.

This entire set was mixed LIVE and is similar to the sets I've played thus far in 2019.

Meeting #033 is brought to you by Florida DJ/producer, Tape B. Originally born in Istanbul, Turkey, this young up-and-coming producer has been making waves across the bass music community. Although his production style leans towards the wubby bass, it’s heavily influenced by hip hop due to the upbringing he has experienced. He recently appeared on our debut compilation “The First Step” with his banger track “WYW.” Tape B is now on a mission to help bridge the beauty of both worlds by combining elements from hip hop and EDM into many of his releases. From a small town in Michigan to being called one of “electronic music’s brightest rising stars” - Wreckno is a 27 year old queer rapper/producer/DJ creating a safe space for LGBTQ+ people in the Bass Music/EDM world. His music has charted #1 in TikTok's Pride category (followed by Donna Summer & Madonna), was featured in Fortnite, and has garnered support from some of EDM’s biggest acts. Wreckno’s recent EP, PANSY, explored the concept of reclaiming and finding power in hate speech once used against him. Paper Magazine stated that the release “puts queer empowerment first and obliterates the competition in the process.”
