Currently based in San Francisco, Farsight’s sound has evolved and developed in line with the continued exploration of his practice and personal life transformations.

Continuing to shore up an already comprehensive back catalogue, Farsight’s ever-evolving sensibility never allows itself to be pigeon-holed to one style. Although one cannot be sure of what the next chapter holds, it will be fresh and vital, shaped by Farsight's centred, bubbly and colourful personality.

His latest double A-side single ‘Swallowed Whole’ // ‘Flash Flood’ will be dropping digitally on Tropopause Records on 19th November and takes a slight departure from what fans may have come to expect from the S.F. native. Nothing to fear, we’re still very much in dancefloor banger territory - delivering a torrent of big beats and playful rhythms, this one is not to be missed!

All Centre co-head Sobolik steps up with a hotly-anticipated four-track EP, ‘Iris’, rounding off an exciting year for the New York-based producer. 

Sobolik is fast becoming one of the most exciting new artists to watch out for. As part of Martyn’s 3024 mentoring scheme, they contributed to the three-part compilation series earlier this year with a wicked little two-stepper ‘Like Like’ and has also released on Turin label early reflex and Tri Music Group as well as remixed diessa on All Centre. 

Supported by the likes of object blue, Anz, Facta, Wordcolour, Martha and more, Sobolik’s productions float between techno and heavyweight bass excursions, putting their own spin on UK-influenced sounds. Melodic and euphoric are words you often find linked to Sobolik’s music and the ‘Iris’ EP continues that trajectory. ‘Diamond’ is a rough around the edges cut that hits you right in the chest with powerful bass stabs and disorientating soundscapes.

Toma Kami returns to Livity Sound for a third EP of provocative, experimental club gear. At the helm of his own Man Band label the French producer continues to explore a hybridised style which favours fractured beats, playful samples and occasional psychedelic flourishes.

Compared to the busier sound of previous releases, minimalism informs Toma’s approach on LIVITY053 as he sits his crunchy drums and weighty low-end in a tangibly spacious mix on ‘Amapicante’. Even within a stripped-down context, his unique approach shines through as ‘Later To The Bone’ progressively ramps up in scratched and scuffed sonic interference and ‘Mzecal’ trips over its own fragmented found-sound drum formations.

Livity Sound is a label set up by Peverelist in 2011 as a vehicle for a raw and exploratory strain of UK techno, rooted in the heritage of UK dance music and sound system culture. It has since become one of the UK's foremost protagonists for cutting edge underground electronic music.

Amman-based Toumba announces Rosefinch, his first EP on wax, and the debut release from London-based record label Hypnic Jerks. The Jordanian DJ, producer and sound designer integrates elements from Jordanian and Levantine folk music into his left-leaning, low-end heavy club sounds. The EP is named after the national bird of Jordan.

Toumba is a curator at MNFA, a club and arts space in Jordan’s capital Amman. It has become a haven for the country’s artistic community in the face of a conservative establishment that often harbours a hostile attitude towards the types of cultural expression that MNFA champions.

A nationally respected artist, Toumba also holds a residency at the MMAG Foundation in Amman. The foundation works with a selection of the most gifted artists in the Levant (Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Palestine), providing a space for artistic research, production and critical discourse.

Multipack of Limes is a percussive workout dotted through with zesty keys, building up to a driving lead that recalls the keyboard players of Jordanian weddings. Shurooq and Sa7rawi are both representative of Jordan's beautiful pink-tinted deserts. Shurooq, meaning 'sunrise', is a slow burner, which builds anticipation through its synth and percussive elements before a huge weighty sub-bass ties the track together. Sa7rawi, an aggressive peak-time chugger, evocatively conveys the beauty and harsh ruggedness of the desert's terrain. Lil Amam Sir, a term used in the army meaning "march forward", is one for the DJs: a four to the flour banger complete with microtonal polyrhythm synth hits that are sure to get the crowd two-stepping like clockwork.

https://soundcloud.com/kindergartenrecords returns with a VA full of depraved glamour and malicious intent, welcoming back https://soundcloud.com/drvmmy and Despina with a pair of unholy club-movers ready to put the fear into any dance, while Italian duo Train to Eltanin make their first appearance on the label with a mangled stomper that splutters with chaotic energy. As for Ma Sha Ru, Taiga is the most accomplished use of Masha’s vocals to date, cocooning them in a tempestuous barrage of pulsating bass and a swirling, kinetic drive.

Newcomers Train to Eltanin are co-founders of the Cyberspeak Collective in Milan. Just in their early 20s, their contribution, Bambam speaks to a prodigious talent, taking a starting point almost reminiscent of 90s big beat before ripping it to shreds immediately, squeezing every ounce of freakiness from it’s bizarre vocal snippet and contorting the track beyond any recognition.

Drummy and Despina, featured on KINDER002 and KINDER003 respectively, double down on this atmosphere. The former, having shown already his penchant for the sinister, evokes the spooky raison d'etre of its namesake in RL STINE, and builds a shuffling stepper over PS2 squeaks, and a gargling broth of bass and taught drum hits. Despina meanwhile delves into disarray with Entropics, named for “the tendency of a system to go from a state of order to one of chaos.” The result is two build-ups for maximum tension, broken with two break-neck plunges into the abyss and a cataclysmic flurry of knotty beats and bottomless subs.
