Soulfooled, lovingly curated since its inception in 2010 by the outstanding German producer & DJ, Alex Niggemann, has steadily established itself as a crucial platform for fresh talent. The label’s focus is always on sonic innovation and search- ing out unfailingly original musical gems, and, in the process, developing its own distinctive brand of music.
Alex Niggemann’s impressive A&R skills were once again highlighted when Dresden’s enigmatic Felkon, released his excellent, mind-bending debut track (“Creixell”) on last sum- mer’s “Soulfooled Cribs Vol.2 EP” (the second instalment of the exciting format that brings the ever-evolving Soulfooled family together). The resulting furore has now led to Felkon returning with a trio of absolutely stunning creations for his “Cry Wolf” EP.
The pulsating, infectiously percussive “Cry Wolf” opens pro- ceedings, layered with super-seductive ebbing and  owing melodic waves, and building towards a plateau of beauti- fully subtle, scarily spooky energy. Meanwhile, the equally engrossing “Eos” has its own distinct identity, pirouetting majestically around another masterclass of subtle, melodic, rhythmic beauty.
“Selene” expands the theme of melody within rhythm even further, with its gorgeous, heart-melting motifs. A wonderful hint of melancholic re ection, serves to create an atmosphere for the track that renders it in one’s subconscious way after its  nal notes have faded from the speakers.
As a teenager Felkon got his  rst experience of being on stage with “Die Pilger”, a fun punk band from his hometown of Dresden, Germany. After the band broke up in 2010, he took his  rst steps into the world of producing electronic music, a process that has evolved to now also playing live sets and DJ sets throughout Europe. Having previously released the “Sunset Stories EP” (Blossom Kollektiv) and the aforementioned “Creixell” (Soulfooled), his new “Cry Wolf” will surely mark Felkon out as major new talent to watch
out for throughout 2016 and beyond, proving what a great discovery he is.
With an ever-growing family of superb artists in their “crib” and stunning releases like this on the agenda, Soulfooled continues to grow into one of the  nest labels around.

We have been following since a long time the progression of a guy named SHMN who increases his skills every  months.... Today  we present you his first release on a label with we already collab several times: Dear Deer. 'Things You Know' will be released on July 28th, keep going guy <3

‘Things You Know’ by SHMN is a poignant impassioned summer, vocal deep-house cut, teeming with mild suspenseful melodic, and delicate progressions. Released July 2017 on Ukrainian based Dear Deer Records sub-imprint -Dear Deer White.
Forget all the things, you think you know’, whispers the ephemeral Parisian vocalist John M, above the drifting, emotive, subtle melodies courtesy of SHMN. ‘Things you Know’ is one of those summertime deep house tracks that befits the mood of a sundrenched party of lovers, and dreamers, or a fantastical late-night of mood-driven, and enlightened house. It is music to dream to, all day -and night. It is the sound of 2017 deep house, with reverbed synthesis, a chorus of symphonies, and epic qualities hugging the gentle, percussive kicks. ‘Welcome to my dreams, now don’t let go’. The digital B-side comes courtesy of Th Moy offering a yet-more atmospheric, and more somber take on the wondrous, house composition. Laden with piano stabs, with Vangelis-like haunting synth melodies, the Dear Deer regular Th Moy delivers a more progressive, and somber cuts that leaves plenty of space for moments to breathe between the track’s fragments of splendor. Space being the track’s most defining characteristic.
‘Things You Know’ is the construct of the London-based, 23-year old SHMN, aka. Anatolii Yevdokymenko. Originally from Kiev, Ukraine, SHMN has been making music since 2009. Gravitating towards differing fields within electronic music, SHMN’s earlier inspirations came from seeing such prestigious acts as Carl Cox, in addition to meeting Juan Atkins at The Best Track in Ukraine Awards in 2011. 2016 single, the deeply expressive, vocal-track on Indiana Tones, ‘Running Over’ was supported by Nora En Pure, Judge Jules and Matt Darey. While SHMN’s debut release, the dark and techier, ‘Awe & Dread’, was featured in Hidden Empire’s guest mix for the German imprint Stil Vor Talent. By encompassing a variety of styles within the underground house scene, the Ukrainian manages to bind everything together through his melodic, and obscure palleted deep textures. Here is an artist that paints with granular atmospherics, moods and cinematic synthesis. With just a few releases under his belt, SHMN has built for himself a world of deep, textural house, full of grand vocals, and delicate yet impassioned moments.

A powerful remix package is on its way for Kerri’s own Madhouse Records via his Matrix alias, and Mixmag has grabbed the Detroit Swindle take, which rewinds it all the way back with the infectious vocal samples from the original released all the way back in 1992 on Madhouse. The remix package, along with takes from Peggy Gou, Josh Butler and Jimpster, is out February 9.

Just Be has been riding a wave of success in the past year and further cements this new incarnation with next installment for the mighty Crosstown Rebels. The massive ‘Don’t Make Me Wait For You’, featuring Jesse Monroe is a wonky slice of pent up tension and swelling moods, reminiscent of proto garage house classics with a touch of modern slinkiness.
