The second release within our EXP catalog welcomes yet another producer from the Austrian city of Graz. d:enigma brings us 'El Viaje,' a journey through two emotive tracks originally written for a short film.

The A Side 'enova' introduces a distressing mood. Warped vocals turn into brooding chants driven by a heavily swung and hypnotic drum groove. While 'cura' takes a turn, providing a release from the gloomy first half of the project. The B Side brings a stimulating palette of synth layers and chopped tonal bits, and still possesses the head-nod flavor that's prevalent in d:enigma's sound.

DEFKON1 is proud to welcome back L0G1N for his second release on the imprint. This time the French producer brings us the third edition of our EXP catalog, 'Sleepwalking'. The weighty 3-tracker is tinged in IDM rhythms and glitched sound design, featuring a remix from Chicon & Darkhurst.

The EP kicks off with 'Parasomnia,' a frantic quarter-time number, driven by a massive pulsating bass line. The track builds slowly, getting more intense and panic inducing as time goes on.

For the second half of the project, L0G1N teams up with Prox on the aptly titled 'Hypnagogia'. The duo flex their sound designs muscles on this deranged journey.

Chicon & Darkhurst took on the remix for 'Hypnagogia,' giving the original a more dancefloor-friendly twist to cap off the project.

L0G1N - Parasomnia

Vito Forza dives deep into nostalgic rave sonics with Warehouse Distrikt. The sounds of early jungle, techno and hardcore make up the 2nd edition of our ODE catalog.

The 12 tracker features dreamy pads, distorted breaks, huge 808's and classic rave stabs that set a soundscape reminiscent of early warehouse raves and ecstasy. Available on limited edition cassette, the full length is an amalgamation of some of Forza's most popular tracks. 

The Chicago based producer does not shy away from different sub-genres, sprinkling in hints of acid, footwork and breakcore. There's a little bit of something for every 90's head throughout the project.

The Door of the Interior Sun opens things up, striking a careful balance between alluring melodies, stuttering ear candy, and driving low-end. An honorable launch into the auditory universe of 'Animah'.

Hyperglitch artist and Midwest-based Nuan Sonar joins Thysbe on Light From The Hidden World. The pair bring the listener deeper into space with some mystical intro work before going full pedal-to-the-metal with a deep halftime groove complimented by IDM-tinged sound design.

Thysbe flexes his harmonic knack with the closer, Animah the Rat Queen. He paints a beautifully balanced picture between dark and light, while not holding back from the weighty presence that the previous pieces bring to the table.

Remember - The Second Realisation

As the cold moves in and the leaves start to turn, GHL brings us 4 eerie dubstep cuts just in time for the fall months.

Ryan Mooney is no stranger to a deep and minimal auditory pallet. While his 'ZUNI' project focuses on the faster and precise tempos of DnB, the Michigander leans into a more sedating and sludgy world under the GHL alias.

The title track sets the scene with a lo-fi atmosphere reminiscent of a horror soundtrack. Encompassing everything GHL loves about dubstep, 'WOODS' was the catalyst for the entire project.

'LIMBS' derives from a Moog Sub 25 jam. The analog bass sounds define the raw characteristics of the lead single.

The B-Side kicks off with the bouncy system flexer, 'CRAWLER'. GHL cites this as his favorite track from the EP, as it captures a certain rowdy, yet minimal vibe that he's aimed to express since starting the project.

The gun-finger-inducing 'SPITTA' caps off the journey through 'WOODS' in a rowdy way. The final track from the EP is a must have on the USB for dubstep DJs.
