Deflected began in April 2013 by Tony Sowerby Aka Tony Ess, & Grant Pattison Aka G-Patto from York, UK. They started DJing back in the late 1990s influenced by the Progressive Trance & House of the times, following DJs like Carl Cox, Sasha, John Digweed, & Daft Punk.  Both of them enjoyed a vast array of events and parties from dark underground clubs in city centres to major festivals like Godskitchen Global Gathering, where they then went on as solo artists to play many clubs and festivals around the UK and Europe giving them over 15 years’ experience on the front line of EDM. 
Reunited after a few years, Tony and Grant found that both of their very unique styles of tech/deep house, and influences of late like Quiver, Chab & Anthony Papa, worked very well together in the studio and behind the decks. In June 2013 the duo started a radio show, Deflected Radio on Clubvibez Radio Station, where they host sets from DJ/Producers from around the globe. During the month of December, 2013, Deflected Radio will be hosting professional DJs from around the world, showcasing their distinguished styles of EDM.

In the coming year ahead we will see the duos first release on Clubvibez Records with Far & Deep coming out 6th January 2014, Slam-in-bass coming out 27th January 2014 and Go Tomorrow coming out on 17th February 2014. All tracks have two exclusive mixes by the Deflected duo, and will also include remixes from DJ EFX, Micheal Muranaka , Lex Loofah, Pete Kastanis and Tea Vuckuvic. An EP project is also in the works with Canadian singer Leslea Keurvorst, a master of vocal dexterity. It is sure to be a very busy year ahead for the Deflected duo. 
2014 will also see the launch of Deflected Digital Recordings (DDR), which will be featuring tracks from worldwide producers such as Phil Walls, Tea Vukovic, Shabain Hiperactive, Lex Loofah, Deflected, Alex Alterskye, and many more….
