We are thrilled to announce the upcoming release of ABSIS's second EP on the Affin label, titled "Silent Voices." Building on the foundations of his previous work, ABSIS has introduced new facets to his sound, crafting an EP that is both innovative and deeply engaging.

"Silent Voices" showcases a more dancefloor-driven component, seamlessly blending it with a distinctive dubby sound signature. This combination results in tracks that are rhythmically compelling yet atmospherically rich, offering a fresh take on his music.

Unlike much of today's output aimed at being played out, ABSIS's "Silent Voices" approaches the dance floor from a different angle. The music is thoughtfully crafted to create an immersive experience, encouraging listeners to lose themselves in its intricate layers and nuanced production....

Silent Voices is the third EP to be released on our sub-label Affin Serial, which was founded last year.

The summer solstice will be here soon, and it's time to bring you the eleventh instalment in the ACCENTEP series, dedicated to the custom format and promoting music that's both contemplative and designed for travel and techno clubs. Akob, a talented duo of producers based between Paris and Berlin, have graced us with an opus that is resolutely sensitive and chamber, offering their vision of a nocturnal techno music that is hypnotic, atmospheric, bewitching and minimalist, with a magnificent sound design that invites us to drive along the country roads at night, alone in our vehicle, discovering the chromatic oscillations of a pre-summer sunset.

We know nothing about the newly emerging Fefe other than the fact that they hail from Down Under and, on this evidence, make classy club tackle. 'Trudd' is a supple, shapeshifting deep techno opener with sub-aquatic pads and churning rhythms. 'Bogged Under' gets more dark and heavy with drum pressure never letting up as spangled synths occupy the mind. 'Diddy's Rug' brings a lighter melodic touch with trippy patterns and hallucinogenic qualities for the afters then 'Fire Warden' is a double-time stepper with dub weight and urgent energy to make for another sophisticated offering from Danza Nativa.

Petal, a rising starlet in the Brooklyn electronic music scene, presents RECEIVING MY FLOWERS, her debut album exploring the journey of learning to love oneself. Raised in the real-life version of Snobby Shores (Long Island), the Brooklyn-based producer, DJ, and organizer is dedicated to improving the status of “Little New Jersey.”

Since 2023, Petal has made waves by performing at venues such as The Lot Radio, Le Bain, and Nowadays, and she’s just getting started. Petal enjoys producing and mixing music in the same way she lives her life, by blending ideas that don’t normally go together. When asked about how she got her start, she always uses the same line:

“Music was my first love, and sharing music was my second love.”

RECEIVING MY FLOWERS is Petal’s most ambitious project to date, spanning genres and moods. It weaves together footwork, techno, jungle, and ambient music, occasionally accented with playful vocals.
