Kuryente’s brand of Techno is punishing and provocative. On this mix, Kuryente drops hammer after hammer and forges a high-intensity mix of Raw Techno, assembling a selection that is a sensory assault of pulsating synths, hypnotic rhythms, and hard driving grooves. Kuryente means “electricity” in Filipino and his play style is charged and focused, layering sounds and shaping frequencies that produce a soundscape suited for a warehouse rave. Moving away from traditional deck mixing and pivoting into a realm of hybrid production and DJ’ing that the likes of Richie Hawtin, Drumcell, & Wehbba explore, Kuryente is set on defining his sound and contributing to the cultural conversation as a Techno Producer/DJ.

Belgrade-born producer focused on the deepest side of techno. Released on Soma Records, Mord, MindTrip, Olympian, Edit Select…Early support on his production from the leading players in the techno industry proves his output's quality.

 He has a very deep understanding of techno and his production style expresses this very clearly. His sound is very minimalistic, dark and driven by deep grooves.

There is continuous tension running through his tracks without the use of big build-ups or huge breakdowns. Milo manages to get to the root of techno and reinterpret it in a unique and individual way, moving away from the trends. 

Modern, future-oriented techno as it should be.
