Dean Durrant is back with a massive acid techno release on Defuse Records: Static Engagement EP, including 3 wicked remixes: Dj / Producer Jerome Krom, owner of the famous Dutch Outland Records imprint, remixed the title track with a more minimal, pure “Amsterdam” techno approach. Another real Dutch hero: Lemon8, known for one of the biggest techno classics ever called Model8 and many other hits on his name, did a smashing melodic techno version of Location Shift and label owners Ziv Avriel & Diablo gave Static Engagement their own dynamic techno signature style. Defuse Records is back with a powerful techno release: Verlangen by Rustig. 
The first up is the original by Rustig, with a very strong minimalistic dark atmosphere, followed up by a banging techno remix by Dispar Vulgo known from his great dj sets at Compound, Mystic Garden festival & CLR parties to name a few. Third in line is a very ruff and dirty slammer by Diablo (NL), not for the faint hearted. Finally, to top it off there's Lukas Pauka's take on Verlangen, which gives the EP a sunny touch through all the dark mayhem.
