loved lift

After DJing for nearly 15 years this was my first stab at producing a track of my own. I started out trying to produce a simple tech house style track with a nice simple melody and bass line being my main objective. But after arranging what I had and then experimenting with delays I decided to add another more uplifting dimension to the track for the finale. The melody in question was done using an arpeggiated setting off rob papens predator, i wrote a small midi pattern and then used abletons clip view to trigger it at different times and on seperate channels.Then for the final section I took one of theese channels and added a large beat synced delay and some synth strings to give a bit more emotion.
