Since 2014, the label has been dedicated to a hybrid form of club music, influenced by grime, UK funky, jersey club, dancehall, and bass music.

Parisian label [re]sources returns with the third edition of its "Club Hexagon" series dedicated to showcase the current French club / bass scene. Gathering several in-house artists such as Dehousy and Blâme, the compilation features some established French producers like Flore, rRoxymore and Ténèbre but also some newcomers, confirming [re]sources' key role in the development of the club music landscape in France.

Collaborateur de longue date du label grâce à 2 EPs et ses participations récurrentes aux différentes compilations [re]sources, Dehousy mettra à l'honneur les sons techno breakée et rave de sa toute nouvelle sortie wanna Be EP. Ce sera ensuite au tour de l'excellent Groovy D, artiste de Leeds et ancien membre de denham Audio. Grand spécialiste du UK Garage et ses dérivés, il compte à son actif déjà plusieurs sorties sur Hardline Sounds ou encore Time Is Now, sous-label de Shall Not Fade.

[re]sources avec Dehousy & Groovy D - 21 Mai 2023

This track is actually based on a Japanese folklore: Hyakkiyakou, which in English simply means "hundreds of ghosts go out at night".
So it's a kinda bit scary but funny as well.
I generally combined the Japanese traditional music with some sort of twerk/trap elements.
Realy hope you guys like it and enjoy this folklore :)

Made this track with @HowieLee a year ago in Beijing.
We then went in on the track a bit more this year in the US when Howie and Veeeky visited.

Towards the time for release, I was second guessing the track a lot, doing hella revisions and reuploading them to the compilation bandcamp for a week after it was out already, trying to come up with new bridges and melodies and cleaning up the mix, fucking with some groove, messing with transitions etc.

Mad decent just blogged the compilation but my OCD ass failed to upload for the soundcloud playlist in time cos i was busy making them changes so this track was only avail on Bandcamp until now

Five years ago, Dj Calcium and Tommy Kid founded the Parisian label [Re]sources. The intent was, and still is, to look for new talents, predict the future of the French club scene, and diversify Parisian nights. After 20 releases, 40 events, 128 tracks and welcoming 70 artists, it’s time to celebrate [Re]sources anniversary. In Paris this week, the label invites all the artists and close friends who made it happen. Amongst them, french Dj and producer Dehousy, who claims multiple influences – from afrobeat to latin, grime, techno and bass music – has put (almost) all of them in an exclusive mix for i-D. Oppressed, submerged, but packed with tremendous energy — that is how Out of Fashion Boys feels about Beijing as a city, as well as the way it defines itself as a label. As the political and cultural center of China, Beijing radiates such a unique charm that one simply cannot find another Chinese city similar to it. Though Beijing is not the most economically developed city in China, all the cultures that it cultivates will never be completely consumed by market economy. It is able to protect or even hinder a culture from commercialization until its next big explosion. Take the Beijing rock’n’roll scene as an example — it is hard to believe that there is almost a 3-decade gap between its two major explosions. Out of Fashion Boys managed to gather a diverse group of musicians into one record, with assistance of the unique energy of Beijing City. 12 groups of artists the label has previously invited to perform live have come together this time to work on the compilation Out of Fashion Boys Vol.1.

In this compilation, you will hear the creation by producer Zean, who is currently based in Shanghai. As a Chinese himself, he contributed to this compilation the most clever sonic take on the atmosphere of the Chinese capital. 
You will hear Berlin producer Goro, who sampled China Airlines’ public announcement in his track.
Paris-based producer King doudou set fire to the compilation with lush club beats that are spiced up with oriental flavors. 
Wrack from Tokyo titled his own track as Hot Pot.
