It’s been 3 weeks, and I’m still vibrating - still a little incredulous about playing live at Kater Blau, a venue that has been on my bucket list since it was still called Kater Holzig. It’s home to so many great artists I admire, a place that has long extended its magic beyond Berlin’s borders, and I am so honored to have had the opportunity to fill it with my music. 

I’ve been thinking about putting my live set together for a long time, so when the opportunity to premier it at Kater knocked on my door, it was crunch time. 2 months to conceptualize, dissect, render, rehearse - most of that time was spent on figuring out what doesn’t work. Many times I thought about changing to a DJ-Set instead, but ultimately, and last minute as always, I got to a point where I felt comfortable enough to take it out of my little garage studio here in Brooklyn all the way to my home country’s capital. 

These two hours on the Heinz Hopper floor went by lightning fast, and it all feels a little dreamlike still. Of course it wouldn’t be a live set without a few hiccups here and there (see if you can spot my „launching a whole scene, instead of just one clip“-mistake in the early part of the set haha), but I think that’s what makes it come alive in the first place. I learned so much from this experience, and got back to my studio/garage with plenty of ideas on how to grow from here. I want this to be a malleable work-in-progress, evolving together with me - unique, non-repeatable, moment-capturing, responsive, alive. 

Thank you to everyone to came out and got hot and sweaty with me on the hottest weekend in Berlin, literally and figuratively. A warm welcome indeed.

In 2017 I recorded a podcast for Herztoene which included some absolute jewels from my collection. I love this set as it captures a moment in my music journey as a DJ and music lover.

It's taken us a little while to fully process what happened on Sunday but now we've had the time to recover from the madness that is Fusion Festival (you too, we hope??) we're realising just how much this gig meant to us and how happy we are with how it all went. Thank you to everyone who was there, who waited the extra 40 minutes while we battled with some technical difficulties, who cheered, sang our lyrics (wait, what?!) and danced with us. You were so supportive and after the first couple of songs the nervousness was almost gone and we could just enjoy sharing what we love together with you all. THANK YOU! You peeps are just great. <3

So, without further ado, here's our live set on the Velvet Soup stage at Fusion on Sunday night. Unfortunately the quality of the recording isn't great (where's the bass?!?), and we actually had to re-record a couple of parts at home due to an issue with the accordion microphone picking up the sound coming from the speakers, but we tried our best to play it exactly like we did on the night and blend it in smoothly with the original recording.  We are proud and happy and we hope you like it!

FRUITCAST #79 I éner & stelzenläufer I daydreaming away in a salak-garden

Now we're reunited, & I’m back here and now!

The last four weeks have been like a rollercoaster ride….what im saying .,.. the last three years at least!!!. 

First, Nixe called to play the closing, to spent so much time before the show, putting together a completely new live set , brings me back to my old rhythm what I lost 3 years ago after corona. 13 songs and a bunch of new material later, I was finally ready to finish the Liveset a few days ago. 

To keep it short, first problem what I had I needed a new laptop after all….., as the old one is finally entering its well-deserved retirement after 13 years and hundreds of shows!

All at last minute…. its so typical for myself ^^

While traveling to the festival, I had to set up my computer again and finally finished five hours before the show. 

When I stepped into the stage and saw those thousands of faces and felt the energy, my excitement and adrenaline were almost unstoppable. I had what were probably (sorry, Seebühne, for running out of time) the two most intense hours of my musical career. All the joy in your faces, wow!


To give you back some of the good feelings for all those who continued to believe in me over the past two years, or those I upset, it was important to me to explain to you here now. I wasn't doing well at all. I was severely depressed, addicted to drugs, myself was in deep grief without consciousness, I lost the most important person in my life, I miss you every day!!

In this time I traveled to the darkest places of my soul and lived there for a long time, my valley was gray and cold, I have seen and felt things that no one wants to see and feel, the drug is so insidious and temptingly dangerous in combination with a broken soul ! be careful with the K, and all of these points lead to me being on the verge of giving up, with myself and of course musically!

But my little monkey & my big love saved my life and my music. They gave me a new perspective on my life!!
Knowing how to make you happy while Mogli peacefully drifts off to sleep in his dream at the camping space, and we experience two unforgettable hours,
and him being indirectly there and responsible for it, makes me so incredibly happy and proud. 

Thank you, and I also thank my wonderful wife Elisa, without whom none of this would have been possible. I love you.

And last but not least, I have to thank probably the most important people in my environment, my closest friends, and especially my musical soul mate, Ninze, thank you for letting me go first with this booking, I really appreciate that! When our paths crossed, no one could have guessed what would happen next, it wasn't us who found each other, but the music who found us, I'm looking forward to our musical future with you <3 love you

Imagine we could combine all the emotions we had in those two hours
and do even more good with it!

Look out for each other and love each other.

Only in this way can we be stronger than what weakens us!

Revisiting one of our well-known tracks of the label, for 2025 we have two new interpretations from Edonia's Fleeting Eternity, by returning artist Inner Voice and awaited debut of Surreal Self!

Released back in 2022 as one of our delighted debuts of the label, Edonia marks with the beautiful Fleeting Eternity! With the trance-adjacent remix from the talented Andrew Frenir provided the year after, in 2025 we have new remixes from Surreal Self and Inner Voice!
