I rarely get to play in my home country - it was great to get a chance to meet these artists I only collaborated with over the internet in real life, and to realize: Even though I live in NY, I can still be part of the scene over there 🙏

It’s been 3 weeks, and I’m still vibrating - still a little incredulous about playing live at Kater Blau, a venue that has been on my bucket list since it was still called Kater Holzig. It’s home to so many great artists I admire, a place that has long extended its magic beyond Berlin’s borders, and I am so honored to have had the opportunity to fill it with my music. 

I’ve been thinking about putting my live set together for a long time, so when the opportunity to premier it at Kater knocked on my door, it was crunch time. 2 months to conceptualize, dissect, render, rehearse - most of that time was spent on figuring out what doesn’t work. Many times I thought about changing to a DJ-Set instead, but ultimately, and last minute as always, I got to a point where I felt comfortable enough to take it out of my little garage studio here in Brooklyn all the way to my home country’s capital. 

These two hours on the Heinz Hopper floor went by lightning fast, and it all feels a little dreamlike still. Of course it wouldn’t be a live set without a few hiccups here and there (see if you can spot my „launching a whole scene, instead of just one clip“-mistake in the early part of the set haha), but I think that’s what makes it come alive in the first place. I learned so much from this experience, and got back to my studio/garage with plenty of ideas on how to grow from here. I want this to be a malleable work-in-progress, evolving together with me - unique, non-repeatable, moment-capturing, responsive, alive. 

Thank you to everyone to came out and got hot and sweaty with me on the hottest weekend in Berlin, literally and figuratively. A warm welcome indeed.

We’re still glowing from all the magical sets, the little details, and the memories that keep playing like a sunrise after a long night.
To open the Rummelplatz on that sunny, burning Sunday was not only a great honor, but truly an inner blossoming of joy. 🌸 And a heartfelt thanks again for the soundcheck, which gifted us a few extra minutes of bliss.

3000Grad Festival 3025 - Sunday noon

This is my set from Mystic Creatures Festival 2025, on the opening night of the festival. 

After a summer filled with intense experiences, I was so looking forward to close the circle and to share with you some slower sounds - music to let all creatures drift gently into a soft arrival on this beautiful island.

Seeing so many people arrive and step into their first moments of the festival during my set was truly magical. It felt like a reunion of many old and new friends, all gathering to kick off a wonderful weekend together. 
I’m deeply grateful for everyone who joined this journey. Your presence and support mean so much to me, and this memory will stay with me. ❤️

It has been a while I last started a set at 90bpm, and wow it felt amazing! This set is a mix of deep and warm sound, with a pinch of weirdness, navigating through the slower music spectrum. Taking a small detour to some more groovy tunes and to minimal vibes, before heading back to cuddly atmosphere this stage was calling for. Almost each and every track hold a strong emotional meaning for me and I am so happy how it all came together

And of course, true to my habit, I closed the set with a little surprise ;)

Time to awake 

„Stell dir vor es ist Krieg und keiner geht hin.“ 
Es beginnt mit einer Lüge. Ein Ereignis wird instrumentalisiert, ein Feinbild kreiert und eine zweckdienliche Gruppe entsprechend dämonisiert. Die Herrscher und ihre Sprachorgane teilen die Menschen ein in wir und die. Denn wahren Zweck erfährt man in der Regel spät bis nie. Angeblich kämpft man für Land, Leute oder den Glauben. Tatsache ist, man soll anderen Menschen ihres Lebens berauben. Im Feld hebt man dann seine Faust, sein Schwert oder Blei gegen einen Bruder. Erschlägt einen Vater, Ehemann oder Sohn. In der Gewissheit man tut es für Ehre, Rum und einen angemessenen Lohn. Doch irgendwann kommt dieser eine Augenblick, man erkennt sein und seines Gegenübers Missgeschick. Dann sickert die Erkenntnis klar und deutlich in sie alle ein. Jeder von ihnen ging einem Lügenkonstrukt auf den Leim. Also lässt man das Morden und die Grausamkeiten sein und geht einfach wieder heim. 
Die Eingangs zitierte Allegorie soll an die Kraft des Individuums erinnern. Jeder hat Schwächen und keiner ist unfehlbar. Jedoch sind Menschen lern- und entwicklungsfähig. Hab den Mut dich dieser Fähigkeiten zu bedienen. Erkenne dich selbst und dein wahres Wesen. Durch das Wissen um dieses Fundament, lösen sich alle Ängste und wie von selbst beginnst du Brücken zu errichten.
Das Set von Deisen ist wie ein Spiegelbild der Seele. Gelassen in seiner Mitte ruhend und dennoch kraftvoll. Aufbrausend wie Gischt auf See, doch in den richtigen Momenten versöhnlich wie der Sonnenaufgang nach einer langen Nacht.
