On the remix, Deja Belle blends smooth vocals and melodic harmonies over a high energy, hip-rocking, afro funk beat that will surely have you groovin'. 

The track was produced and engineered by longtime collaborator Matty the Chef (IG @mattythechefdc).

Eclectic and soulful, Deja Belle delivers a 1960s ska-inspired rendition of Aerosmith’s top-charting power ballad, “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.” This upbeat track is reminiscent of the late singer Amy Winehouse’s island-esque song, “Just Friends,” featuring reggae rimshots, ska guitar strums and breezy vocals. It also features an overlay of infectious and melodic vocal harmonies. 

Marking the 20 year anniversary of the No. 1 hit record, Deja Belle’s version is available for free download until the end of the year. Bring It Down, the fifth song from Deja Belle's debut Ep Album "U.N.I.", comes at you hard with a tribal war cry for an end to all the plagues Africa, today. From start to finish, Bring It Down is a pulsating, soul shaking euphony of sound. 

The song opens with mystical tribal sounding drums then immediately dips into a four-on-the-floor beat as Deja starts with "Bring It Down". Producer, Matty The Chef, combines electronic elements with an afro beat vibe to make sure the listener gets hyped up and wants to dance. Towards the end, Deja Belle sings in her country's native tongue of Lingala, which brings the music full circle.
