Bring Your Love Down (DJ SIRHC MIX)

Stefan Schwander aka Harmonious Thelonious is definitely not a newcomer. He has been around for a long time and has already released lots of amazingly varied music on labels such as Emotional Response, Italic, Meakusma and Diskant. He’s also an integral part of the infamous Duesseldorf / Salon Des Amateurs axis that is an obvious hotbed of talent. He describes his style as "American minimalism vs. African drumming vs. European sequencing", a heady mixture which is clearly evident on this EP though with a definite Middle Eastern twist. At Versatile HQ they were introduced to this clutch of tracks by one of the members of Acid Arab and were totally blown away. Stefan has a very unique production style, fusing all of the above elements with a hint of Gamelan, a dash of tweaked FM synthesis type sounds with a dose of warm ambience and finally his own singular touch on the mix. Here premiered is the b1 "Defender", our fave cut of this delightful four tracker. revisiting some of the A-side sound palette, but catapulting those cosmic tones into a realm of amphetamine fuelled intensity - peaktime drummy psychedelia for any and all dance floors. For the upcoming release from Dekadenz Records falls into the hand of Aditya Permana. The Jakarta based producer have come up with 4 new edit of forgotten Industrial gems, loaded with rough cuts, and ready to tear down the dance floor.

This time Aditya explore his passion in finding and experimenting industrial dance organization, with strong post-punk and electro sections. Commanding new interpretations, setting a bold and uncompromised approach of his productions.

This EP is a post factum of the great Industrial music phase in the 1980, where there are so many fragments of the genre itself. And Aditya manage to mutate those tracks into a new club territory, tested before and a sure highlight for any adventurous DJ.

Nico Kubebe, the Lille based producer and member of Volcan La Pété, makes his solo debut with an exotic EP on Fauna Rêve. 

In Kubebe's FM Jungle, we take a bath of flames. Wild pet and breathless groove lover, his debut ep is the riverbed on which we lie down to fly away, beyond the waterfalls and the stars.

This is Yani Ani's second release, his first for Lurid Music, an artist from Tel Aviv who is also an up-and-coming visual designer and photographer with work published in C-Heads and Vogue Italia, among others. Roe Deers, one of favorite producers from the Vilnius scene, was kind enough to accept our invitation to remix one of the tracks. Full vinyl release is expected in mid 2021.
