Nonsense WIP

This one is another experiment I created a while back, and have used as a DJ tool in my sets for some time. Sometimes its not all about the wubs, and crazy sounds. This track was meant to be a journey of its own, and was fully created as an original. Then one day I heard it, and the vocals from U & I by Galantis came into my head, and I threw them on the second half of the track as an experiment of sorts. When I played it live for the first time, people were moved in a way I couldn't have predicted. Now I've decided to share it so the rest of you can take the journey as well.

I'm Not Afraid

Ladies and gents -  I'm proud to present what would have been my Open Decks set for Deja Voom 2020 ~

Being my first time playing for the gang, I wanted to take the journey as deep as 30 mins would let me as a way to introduce myself & my sound. I tried to fit in a wide variety of my tracks from old to new, remixes, edits, and brand new unreleased stuff I made just for Voom. You'll hear a lot of my biggest musical inspirations besides Lorin himself 🙌

A really special part of the set for me is the clip at around 6:00. This is actually audio of our Chichén Itzá tour guide, Alex, from Deja Voom 2019. I accidentally left my phone recording video in my pocket, and the audio ended up being perfect. He left a huge impression on me, and spent most of the tour talking to us about Mayans, ancient cultures, his shamanistic experiences, and more. I thought about how cool it would be if I could get a recording of some of what he was saying, so I was pretty amazed to find the video weeks later at home. I've been manifesting that I'd get to play it at the next Deja Voom since.
