After a bit of a hiatus, Blue Veil aka Daniel Clancy is back on his own label, ‘Dichotomy Records’ with a new 5 track release titled ‘Urban Alienation’. Ambient interludes, and break-beat excursions abound as Clancy brings the listener through an emotive journey laced with introspective moments.

Our premiere for today, ‘Imagination Of Ourselves’ pulls at the melodic heartstrings almost immediately. Bittersweet synths set the scene as layer upon layer of intricate percussion is added to great effect. The textured pops and micro beats add enjoyable auditory details into the mix, making for a tight swing and feel to the track.

Imagination Of Ourselves, and in turn the rest of ‘Urban Alienation’ will be released December 17th.

Kaftan takes us on a cosmic journey starting with the atmospheric Dino and a downtempo percussive Observatory. Side B continues with an uplifting slow groove of En and adventurous Ziggurat.

Having impressed us so much when we last touched down at Berlin’s Hoppetosse we had to find out more about Ukrainian artist Travis. For a start, she is a System Error resident and this accolade does not come easy. Not excelling at just one genre, Travis combines a huge selection of sounds into a cohesive package. Not an easy task when moving at the speeds that she does. Being at home in the clubs of Berlin she regularly spins at all the major haunts as well as breaking out to the likes of Dimensions and Strikha Festival in her native Kyiv.

In a slight change from our normal podcast style we present something different but certainly with tones and elements of all the sounds that make up what we know and love. Travis melds all manner of bass music with lush soundscapes, increasing tempos and moods she works her magic with her break heavy sound palette. From more electro moments all the way up to drum and bass and electronica that is too obscure and breakneck to pigeonhole. Made to expand the mind this mix from Travis is most definitely one for the heads.

The name Lalita means "She Who Plays", 
and play (lila), refers to the creation and sustaining of the Universe. 
Self-willed and independent Lalita is an exquisitely sensuous goddess also known as Kameshvari or the “Empress of Desire”. 
She exists in a perpetual state of perfect harmony, ever benevolent, her eyes moist with compassion for all beings. 

Lalita is a live recording from Enrica's and mine first studio jam after we were introduced to each-other in Berlin's in Club der Visionaere. 
So grateful to have such memory of one of those life changing moments (that don's seem that way as they're happening) pressed on wax <3
