Operating in Berlin via Moscow, Vlada’s work as an artist is marked by her incessant travelling, and widening boundaries of perception.

From what started with formal tuition on the piano, her sonic explorations have taken her through jazz, funk, and beyond. Caressing the nuances of melody, groove, and mood, Vlada journeys through the various strands of sound condense mesmerisingly under the curiosity of night.

As a DJ, Vlada’s framework lies in house and techno, with the odd excursion through break-beat and electro – but she’s constantly changing and growing, exploring wider ranges on style and experimenting with her musical identity. This isn’t a restlessness that‘s just confined to her music, it’s in her very nature, as someone who is constantly on the move.

Vlada’s selection and overall style matches her penchant for small, intimate, sometimes dark venues, while her natural fluidness, rhythm and internal polarity as an artist and as an individual is matched by a love and deep connection to the sea…

"Can we talk?" he proposed gently.
She shook her head at the question: "Don't really have good experiences with talking. I'm trying my best, but sometimes I just can't explain myself, in a way, people would understand. Sometimes, my mind flies away and when it does, making a sentence is not an option. Words can be so confusing. I am trying to express my thoughts, fears and affections without talk and make my pride, self-esteem and ego vivid beyond the limits of words."
"Do you think it is possible to establish a real, concrete connection without having to use speech?" he continued.
"Mental love has no limits. That's the beauty of it. It is a pure and special vibration that comes from deep inside of oneself. The manner one uses to let it out, shouldn't be limited to one's tongue."
"But you have realized, meanwhile, that we had been talking the whole time, right?" he winked at her. They looked at each other and smiled.

After a lovely summer well spent, the time came, when they had to be separated for a little while. Nights before the departure, the atmosphere was tense. On those evenings, they weren't really hanging out, even though, they were together. They were both lost, each in one's own silence again. Few words they exchanged, vanished in the air, like the smoke of a cigarette.
The last evening they both fell asleep feeling blue. Next morning, she woke up early, took a quick shower, made coffee and leave it on the kitchen table, with a puzzled note that said:
"Word signal breath capital subject sign. Letter mark interrupted character spit it out, the final say. Sound!"
