‘Did We Move Too Fast’ is a song that lyrically focuses on a couple who have left their hometown to chase something more. They’ve left to discover what the world has for them however they reflect on the criticism of those back home who think they’ve rushed the decision and think it won’t work out. The chorus says “have we lost our heads, they’ll never know” which is representing that they’ll never return or care for those that doubted them. This is definitely one of our favourite lyrical songs we’ve ever made!

Did We Move Too Fast

We’re beyond excited to release Tough Act To Follow! The nostalgic “coming of age” feel that the instrumental holds will hopefully resonate with the listener and put them in the shoes of the hypothetical main character of the lyrics. The lyric “getting older, losing time” sticks out to us as it’s such a common theme for us and others in our age range. We truly think this is our strongest work to date and can’t wait to also take it to another level whilst performing live.
