For its 3rd compilation, Blue Night Jungle dives deeper into the french mental music scene. Enhancing the underground metamorphosis of a new way of conjuring trance within electronic musics, it welcomes a batch of new artists (Beatrice M., RAVL, Vanda Forte, Paul Rêve, Tampo, Orchid, NOGE, Kick21, Solma, Khey Mysterio, Cléo II) but also spare room for known figures of the label (Smogo, Drawbridge, Trois-Quarts Taxi System or Boskøw). Going from deep tribe adventures to dark DnB paths, jungle and trance experiments, it gathers this whole new "mental" scene of french parties for a long journey through the depths of unknown jungles.

On their inaugural EP for Omen Wapta, GUI and Adhi take on a monastic task. Over the course of five accelerating tracks, they pull ritual practices out of the communal environment and into a solitary headspace.

‘Katha Manjari’ embodies a voyage that connects the mere twenty centimeter diameter of the human head and its contents to metaphysical realms of extradimensional proportions. Throughout the EP’s runtime, you’re met with various non-ordinary modes of reality and lucidity. From the dreamstate of ‘Turiya’ all the way through to the heavy flow of subconsciousness that is ‘Deras’.

These cathartic states of mind contain nods to many different traditions, for you to unpack. Heritage percussive instruments are met with resituated samples, decontextualized field recordings and the sonic properties of different fundamental states of matter–solid, liquid, gas, plasma. Drip sounds become rhythm, sonic smoke particles become resonant ambience, electrically charged glitches become the energy transistor of a track.

The project’s rhythms and timbres hint at ancient group ceremonies, with canonized chants sweeping around the sonic spectrum and different drum sequences syncopating, drifting apart and realigning. The overwhelming feeling that lingers, however, is that this experience is one powered by your own cognition, whether that’s horizontally on your couch or bathed in fog on a dance floor with fellow dwellers. ‘Katha Manjari’ is your guide for pure reality testing. For constructing a bridge through the mist between group ritual and solitary meditation.

A gem-diol is a type of organic compound in chemistry that contains two hydroxyl (–OH) groups attached to the same carbon atom. The term "geminal" refers to the fact that these hydroxyl groups are located on the same carbon, making the compound unique. Gem-diols can be formed through the hydration of aldehydes or ketones and are often unstable, readily converting back to their original carbonyl forms. They play significant roles in various chemical reactions and are intriguing due to their ability to influence the properties of molecules, making them important in organic synthesis.
In this EP by Abo Abo and Spekki Webu, the two DJs and sound artists draw inspiration from the properties of gem-diols, creating unstable and parallel dimensions. Each soundscape invites exploration, offering a dynamic experience that shifts and evolves over time.

This collaboration captures the essence of fast-paced techno, blending organic influences with expansive, textured soundscapes that evoke the vibrant rave culture of the ’90s. Each track features pulsating rhythms and immersive sonic environments, with nods to tekno and psytrance, making it perfectly suited for the dancefloor. The EP invites listeners to lose themselves in the interplay of frequencies and textures, creating an immersive and contemporary dance experience.

Premiere: A Strange Wedding - Quadra Morphing [US001]

We are glad to present the debut LP album from an artist within the Organic Signs family: @solmadj . One year ago, the French artist planted the seed of this sonic journey with his set at The Memoir by Hypnus Records. Now, that seed has fully blossomed, unveiling a collection of new creations. Eight tracks that define his sonic universe, where DnB, halftime, and tribe intertwine in an atmosphere of hypnotic textures and pulsating synths.

The journey begins with Wetlands, drawing us into a mist-laden landscape where solitary birds glide through the sky and the dense humidity clings to every breath. In the dim light, a deep, enveloping sound spreads through the air, merging with electrified gusts of wind. As we move forward, distant echoes of other life forms emerge, thriving in the space between water and earth.

The first heartbeats stir in Mud. Continuing the path set by its predecessor while subtly layering new elements, the track immerses us in mystical soundscapes, unlocking portals to uncharted dimensions. Percussive fragments, scattered across the stereo field, begin to surface tentatively, paving the way for Clay, where the hypnotic progression deepens.

With Spores, the rhythm evolves into 4x4, maintaining the ethereal essence that has permeated the album from the start. Percussion elements phase in and out, leading seamlessly into Trimitic, a stripped-down yet profound exploration of minimalist Tribe.

The album builds in intensity, reaching its peak with Fungal Network, an electrifying burst of energy crafted to set the dancefloor ablaze. Then, The Consciousness of Plants slows the pace once more, introducing a whispering voice and a synth that oscillates fluidly, pulling us into its meditative sway.

The journey culminates with Reset, where the tempo eases, and the narrative comes full circle. The echoes of birds return, this time illuminated by the clarity of a new dawn. With Liquid DnB rhythms and textures, Solma concludes his debut album with a farewell that lingers in the mind, resonating long after the final note fades.
