This one's straight from the depths of Antigravity - Kharma laid this mix down heavy during the Newy Bass Crew takeover at The Taj, Antigravity 2025.

Known to some as Smop, she's a Naarm-based (Melbourne AU) DJ and producer who fuses psy-tech, experimental drum and bass, broken beats, and bass-heavy grooves into something that hits deep and weird in all the right ways. With over 15 years on the decks, her sets are layered with hypnotic grooves, twisted acid lines, and a cinematic edge that pulls you in and spits you out in another dimension.

She's no stranger to the underground circuit, having played twisted bush missions like Twisted Frequency (NZ), Earthcore, Chakra Gathering, Bluebell Festival, and Antigravity, alongside regular slots at Naarm staples like My Aeon and Revolver. Her name's been on lineups for crews like Techgnosis Records, Sonic Sacraments, Universal Tribe, Bush Techno, Astralien Tech, and Eclectic Tribe. Back in 2022, she dropped a set for Newy Bass Crew on the Cabin Fever Sessions on Orbital Radio - raw and proper.

Her sets are a trip - rolling basslines, acid squelch, deep atmosphere, and a cheeky kind of chaos that keeps you locked in. If you're into unconventional sounds that bend the rules and flip your brain sideways, Kharma's the one.

I.C.Y is a DJ and producer based on the South Coast of NSW, where the pace of life is slow, the connection to nature is strong, and that energy filters straight into her music. Her sound leans into the deep and minimal ends of dubstep – heavy low-end pressure with plenty of space to breathe. Nothing forced, nothing overdone. Just clean, weighty selections that pull you in without needing to shout.

She's not about big drops or flashy moments – her sets are about feeling, mood, and slow-building tension. There's a quiet intensity in how she plays. Every transition, every tune has purpose. She'll take you into darker, deeper places – and leave enough room for your own mind to wander inside the sound. Sometimes there are cryptic messages tucked in there, sometimes it's just about being still and letting the bass move through you.

Over the last year, she's played Dragon Dreaming, Subsonic, Twisted Frequency, Weaselstock, and a string of Eora shows including Afterlife, FBi Radio, Contact, and some solid appearances with the Gennyada crew.

My second live set titled "MELT" is a 1 hour 150 Bass and 174 DNB mix. Pieced together over the course of a relentless week of sleepless nights spent selecting, mixing and producing, MELT features one of my original (unreleased) tracks amongst a firestorm of several to many other absolute bangers.

MELT has two halves, the first half hour being focused towards 150bpm Bass, it's thick, gritty, organic and a touch sexy. Featuring some heavy-dark and some light-upbeat moments, MELT is well suited for bass heads, forest wooks, Fae and flow arts performers alike.

The second half hour pushes the bpm up a notch, fusing a clean blend of orchestral, cerebral DNB with some superfat dancefloor heavy hitters. Half-time wubby botanica weaves throughout the hard and fast highlights feat. THE DRAMA. It's heavy, cinematic, dark, and explores beauty and danger as one.

Huge shoutout to Roadi and Hidden Records, the Smoko Pizza team, all crew, artists, performers and friends who each put in incredible efforts to deliver a such a high quality event in a WILDLY short timeframe, you're all the fkn best.

Closing the Guya Guya (lake) Stage on Sunday at Dragon Dreaming was an absolute privilege and honour. The energy on that dancefloor was electric, and I felt completely lifted and connected after such a beautiful weekend. 
Thank you to everyone who danced, who connected, who were present and came on a journey with me - it meant everything.
Huge love to Cam Volkeine for trusting me with the Sunday sesh closing set, and to Dragon for having me back.
