What a lovely prompt... and a tough one! 

I’m bad at minimalism. Most of my tracks somewhat baroque (fancy excuse for „too dense“). For this assignment I tried to reduce wherever I could. Once again, working with silence is a thing I still need to learn. Spent two hours balancing between silence and notes with the help of of transient designers and gates. Brought the sounds-silent ratio down to maybe 60:40.

Things I Deleted for Baritone sax, Electric guitar and Cello

Klaatu.... Varada........ Umm what was it again?

Literally hit random on a Volca drum until I found a bunch of sounds I liked. Added some Strega, TR6S, and some vocal samples from an old Loops for Acid CD I had laying around. Changed up my original lead line from the 1st posting of this track to a Microfreak.
